Questions for this shipment:

Question: can the height on this boat be reduced by removing anything from the top? (7/16/2007)
Response: Yes. The entire aluminum framed radar arch can be removed where bolted to the sides of the boat. Wiring is inside the arch for speakers, fans, radar, GPS and TV units. I was told the arch could be pivoted either to the front or rear without damaging the wiring. I am not aware if there is enough play in the wiring or not for this. Dropping the arch should cut the height about 3-4 feet. I just had the finish on the exterior repaired, polished and waxed and the bottom was just repainted. Thanks for your question. I hope this helps to answer it. A marine dealer in my present area said he has dealt with UShip before, recommended it highly, and thought the cost might be around $6000. Thanks! Jim (7/17/2007)
Response: THANKS I WILL GIVE YOU A BID. (7/17/2007)
Question: Can this boat be brought to the final destination under her own power. If so I know we could work out a great deal. Jason S. (7/17/2007)
Response: Sorry, but I do not want the boat in the water before it arrives in Maine. Sorry! Jim (7/19/2007)
Response: Thas cool...Good luck on the move. (7/19/2007)
Question: im a professional marina operator and boat transporter out of Rockland,Me. we have a full service facility here with both hydraulic trailers and lowboys are you taking care of having boat wrapped as we only do that at our marina if we can get lower on height i can bring this north for $7200.00 we also carry $1,000,000 in cargo insurance as well as experienced driver for 18 years thanx Kenny (7/17/2007)
Response: I really need the boat wrapped before shipping. Yes the height can be lowered by dropping the radar arch. I already have a lower bid with all that I requested. I will keep you in mind. Thanks! Jim (7/19/2007)

Response: The beam is actually 12'9". luminum radar arch can be dropped, but either you can do this or please notify me and I would make some arrangement. I don't have anyone to shrinkwrap. I would like to have it covered with tarp or something for the trip. Thanks! Jim (7/24/2007)
Response: a tarp would do more damage than good flapping around will cause chaffing marks on hull and if it rips could catch on something and tear off i suggest a little soap and water when arrives or i can bring to my marina in Rockland and have the girls give a cleaning thanx Kenny4800 (7/26/2007)
Question: Jim this is lstrucking, This morning I advised you that I could still get to you by month end. However, I just booked a load and which currently leaves me with my first opening 8/6/07. (7/26/2007)
