Response: The boat will probably be ready to go the last week of October. I will let you know more next week. It is not on a trailer and it is going to go straight to a dry storage facility at Port St Joe marina. They have a fork lift there that they use to move the boats. Will you be able to work with that? Response: Thank you for the response. Yes we can haul this with our trailer and the end of the month is fine. As far as unloading as long as the fork lift is big enough for the boat. If they handle boats I am sure it will work. We will send contract and copy of ins upon acceptance of bid. If you accept the bid we will get contact info and we can get this scheduled in. Response: Thanks Ron. I saw your recommendation to read the user agreement but dont kno where to locate it. can you help? I look forward to working with you. It will probably be next week before I will have a more definitive date but I am shooting for the 26th of October. I have never shipped a boat before and have to admit this makes me nervous. Response: Becky, it is nice to see a shipper want to check things out, most just go on the price. At the bottom of this page is the user agreement highlited in blue. Also if you go to bottom in catogories and click on boat transport and then scroll down to choosing a boat carrier this will tell you the questions you should ask a transporter, very good info. We are in compliance with all. You will see our Dot & Mc numbers in our profile. If you do not see them you should ask and check them on site uship has highlited in blue. Response: Ron I still haven't found the user agreement you mentioned. Where should I be looking? I sent you a previous question when I was half asleep. Response: Becky, the user agreement is at the very bottom of this page on the last line on left side highlited in blue. We will fax ins to you upon acceptance of bid. Uship will not allow any contact before that, which counterdicks what they tell you to do in choosing a boat carrier. Ron (10/2/2009)
