Question: Pretty much anything on top of the arch needs to be removed. (8/17/2009)

Response: Do we need to do it. Or is it part of the quote? (8/18/2009)

Response: It is not a big deal, takes about an hour to remove everything. I can do it if you are not available to take care of it. (8/18/2009)

Response: are you referring to the removal of the equipment on the roof? (9/7/2009)

Response: I mean radar, GPS, TV antenna, etc. (9/7/2009)

Question: Hi, do you still need this shipped? If you do, when will she be ready to ship, and when would you like her in Florida? (8/23/2009)

Response: We decided to postpone it until the first week of October. Let me know if you would be willing to bid again? Also, can you work with a set pick up date? (8/23/2009)

Response: Hi, I can only work with a timeframe. Meaning, I would be able to pick her up within a a day or two of your selected dates. There are too many varibles in this bussines to be anywhere on a specific date. All we move are large boats, with that comes travel restrictions and curfews. And there are delays, marinas don't always load or unload us when they say they will, and trucks and trailers break from time to time. I hope you understand why, no one can commit to a specific date. Thanks, Rich (8/23/2009)

Question: H, where are you at with this? (9/7/2009)

Response: I want to schedule something for the week of the 27. Let me know if we can work with this.
Thanks (9/7/2009)

Response: Hi, are we talking September, or October? (9/7/2009)

Response: September. The closer to October 1st the better, that way I don't have to pay per diem on before the 1st. (9/7/2009)

Response: I could pick her up on the 24th, or the 30th. I am based in south Florida. I would be delivering a boat north begiining the week, and then returning at the end of the week. My bid would be $3500.00. It includes everything. You can see in my profile who I transport for, and I already have the Insurance in place to cover your boat at no additional charge. We don't use pick up truck and recreational boat trailers. Everything is on Air Ride tractor trailers. I move a couple boats like yours for my regular customers, and one of them is the same year as yours. Let me know what you think! (9/7/2009)

Response: There is another owner on the boat. I think this is gonna work fine. As soon as I hear back, I will confirm with you. Let me know how does she need to be prepared? Since this is the first time I'm transporting her.
Thanks,
Frank (9/7/2009)

Response: Hi Frank, as far as prep, everything on top of the arch will need to be removed. All canvas must be taken down. And anything that is loose must be secured. If you are unable to handle this, I can do it for you. Additional charges would apply! Marina yard hands are not the greatest when it comes to preparing boats for the road! Let me know how I can help! (9/7/2009)

Response: Thanks for your quick response. What's your charge to remove the radar and antennas? Also, it has a hardtop with canvas, but I don't have a cockpit cover. Can't the canvas stay on to protect the cockpit from
road dust? Let me know.
Frank (9/8/2009)

Response: Hi Frank, I need to know what exactly is on your hardtop? There are so many things that can be mounted up there. As far as canvas, it is not meant for the conditions of highway travel. Each piece of your canvas is made up of two separate pieces, the main piece, and the part that slides into the track, they both need to be removed. Let me know what is on the hardtop, and I will give you a price to remove and reinstall. Thanks, Rich (9/8/2009)

Response: Hi rich, it has a raymarine radar, search light and two VHF antennas. I will have to figure something out to cover the cockpit. I didn't get a flat cockpit cover cause of the hardtop.
Thanks
frank (9/8/2009)

Response: Hi Frank, it would be $300.00 to remove and reinstall the electronics, as well as handle the canvas. As far as protecting the cockpit, you could shrinkwrap that area. I would not waste money on th entire boat. Honestly, if your did nothing, the most it will need is a good cleaning! (9/8/2009)

Response: That sounds good, I would like to book you guys for the move. Let me
know how you want to handle it? I was going to accept your bid but I don't think you submitted one. (9/8/2009)

Response: I will submitt a formal bid. It is not date specific, but it is for one of the two dates I have offered. After the bid has been accepted, I will provide you with a contract that will have the dates for your pick up and delivery, "based on what you choose" as well as services being provided. Thanks, Rich (9/8/2009)
