Question: Not every unit on uship is in running condition--some require a winch to load. I sure do need to know the status on this unit before I bid. Thanks. (5/7/2008)

Response: Yes it's in running condition. I also have a nissan fronteir in running condition that needs to come to houston as well. (5/8/2008)

Response: I am interested. Where is the truck located? (5/8/2008)

Response: both trucks are in Kenner at the same place. does your insurance cover the load also? (5/8/2008)

Response: Yessir I have $100,000 in cargo ins. in addition to my liability ins. I will submit a bid when you are within 10 days of being ready. That will give me time to find a backhaul which will help both of us. Keep me posted. Faie enough? (5/8/2008)

Response: Sounds good, how does June 2 sound or close to it. I'm flexible on the dates as someone is always on that end and this end. Can you give me a rough idea, this is for the Nissan and the forklift.
I'm ready to commit if the price is there.
Thanks for your interest,
John (5/8/2008)

Response: Well if diesel prices continue to increase, who knows what it will be in 3 weeks, but I would estimate 700.00 or less depending on the haul going the other way. Is the pickup a 2 or 4 wheel drive? Most 2 wheel drives are too low to go up my ramps but all 4 wheel drives have no problem. Honestly I would rather wait and bid when I get a backhaul load. You will save money that way too. thanx-davidwill... (5/8/2008)

Response: No the truck is a 2 wheel small truck. The fork lift may be able to help with that. Now the fork lift will certainly bottom out, it does have the big tires but only has about 7'' clearence. I have a friend with another fork lift that may be able to help. Your the pro so you tell me. I think the lift has enough power to go up the ramps.
The price sounds fine. I know what you mean about the diesel prices going Crazy)I filled my truck up today 5 gallons short of empty and it was $125.
Any ideas of getting the fork lift on? I can pay for some hassle time. On the houston side we have an escscavater and a dozer that may help. You tell me.
Thanks
(5/8/2008)

Response: Most 3\4 ton trucks have 7 to 8 in. clearance so that should work ok. The small pickup won't make it unless you lift it up and take it off with the forklift. I don't charge extra for "hassle time". That just goes with the territory sometimes. First week of June should work for me. Surely I can find a backhaul by then... (5/8/2008)

Response: I'll schedule it roughly around that time and wait to hear back from you.
Thanks again, (5/9/2008)

Question: Im also interested in this shipment, are the forklift and truck within a close distance of eachother? If so, I can give you a great rate for both. Thanks, CS Truckin (5/8/2008)

Response: yes they are together (5/8/2008)

Response: $837.81.... That is an all inclusive bid that includes my fee, and uship fee. There is no suprises upon delivery. Thanks, CS Truckin (5/8/2008)

Response: That sounds reasonable, what is your schedule like, do you go through that way often, I'm pretty flexible on time, we won't be ready until the first of next month.
(5/8/2008)

Response: the more in advance i know the better, i require at least 5 days though. let me know, CS Truckin (5/8/2008)

Response: Do you need 5 days notice before pick up? Once picked up how long for delivery?
(5/8/2008)

Response: it would be nice to know as early as possiable to ensure i can complete on your dates, thats why i ask for at least 5 days, once we have it loaded, it should be same or next day delivery. CS Truckin (5/8/2008)

Response: No problem, I'll give atleast that if not more. Will the load be insured by you as well? I'd say we go ahead and set it up for June 2. I assume I'll get some credentials and formal paperwork when you pick up. Just want to make sure I'm dealing with the right guy.
Thanks again,
My name is John by the way. (5/8/2008)

Response: uninsured, but can supply as many happy customers contact info as you would like. you will have all my information prior to shipment, as well as paperwork given to the person(s) I pick up from, as well as a bill of landing when I drop off. Let me know if you are still interested. Thanks, CS Truckin (5/8/2008)

Response: So your truck is insured but the load will not be correct? Is there a way to purchase insurance for just that shipment.I'm not sure how all that works. (5/8/2008)

Response: yes, all equiptment is insured with full coverage through my personal insurance company. I cannot get a one time insurance coverage for this shipment. Only in 1 year policies. (5/8/2008)

Response: So your insurance won't cover the load then, only the vehicle. (5/8/2008)

Response: my insurance ONLY covers my truck & trailer. your forklift & truck will NOT be cover. I appologize for any confusion. (5/8/2008)

Response: Just wanted to be sure. I may need the insurance. I'll get back to you. It's only 6 hours but it's a truck I'm still paying for both worth maybe $20,000, so still may be a possibilty.
thanks again. (5/8/2008)

Response: just let me know what you decide. Thanks again for consideration. CS Truckin (5/9/2008)

Question: Hi John--davidwill again. For your protection, I recommend that you check the feedback on everyone that places a bid. Uship provides that info to you. All you do is click on the bidders name, for instance "davidwill". That gives you an idea of dependability, type of insurance, etc. I will be looking for a backhaul in your area and will place a competetive bid when I get one. Hope this info is helpful. I WILL be back in touch. thanx--davidwill... (5/8/2008)

Response: Will do thanks (5/12/2008)
