Question: Customer, based on my 1.5 years of experience on the Uship board, BE VERY AFRAID of carriers with no feedback score who don't have enough integrity to back their work by offering you full value cargo insurance at no extra cost to you!!! Every expensive item that I've ever seen destroyed was destroyed by a DOT/MC certified carrier. A DOT# is a government requirement, it doesn't measure the quality of a carriers work. Your best guarantee of quality is a track record of proven performance, not some ALL CAPS commandment from ON HIGH like you see above. And yes, I do have both a DOT# and an MC# because they are required. But your best guarantee of quality from me is my track record of treating my customers property as well as I treat my own. Also, based on my experience on this board, anytime a carrier comes on talking about his DOT certification usually means he wants to overcharge you. My opinion, take it for what its worth. Question: Hello, this price is contingent on another load that I have possibly scheduled from coming back from CT to Ohio, it may happen this weekend but the load is not confirmed as of yet.
