Additional Information: The Ford 4500 Backhoe Attachment is located in a small residential backyard that can be accessed through a gate and driveway. Backhoe attachment will have to be either carefully lifted onto a trailer or possibly winched onto a rollback truck or tilt trailer as not to damage it. The backhoe attachment has no wheels or rollers and will have to be lifted or dragged carefully onto a trailer or rollback truck and secured. Report a Violation

can it be winch onto trailer with 4x4's and plywood under it.what price would book it today? i can do it on sat or sundayReport a Violation
Response: The backhoe attachment is currently sitting off the ground on concrete blocks with the exception of the boom portion of the backhoe attachment that is resting on the ground and is partially extended. It may be possible to winch it onto a trailer with plywood and 4x4's. It's pretty heavy and weighs approximately 2000-2500 lbs (guessing). The outriggers are extended outward also, but may be able to retract them with a come-a-long. It will also have to be stablized when loaded onto a trailer or rollback. As for the price to book it today, probably $350-$400, and I would have to contact the property owner where the backhoe attachment is located to see when he would be available prior you to picking it up. 2/17/2014Report a Violation
Response: Ok sounds good. I have look at attachments online and should be able to get it on my single car trailer with my winch. Sat or sun would work best for me.2/17/2014Report a Violation
Response: I will have to call the property owner to see if he will be available on Saturday or Sunday. Can you give me a time frame when you would be able to pick up the backhoe attachment from his backyard? It maybe a tight fit for you to get the trailer around a corner of his house in the backyard to where the backhoe attachment is, but I think it is do-able. As an alternative, if he is unable to be present on Saturday or Sunday, is there another day and time that you could do this?2/17/2014Report a Violation
Response: sat morning anytime is best, sunday before lunch too. that way i can have it to you the same day. i will use my 18ft car trailer so i am sure we can get it in back yard2/17/2014Report a Violation
Response: Thanks for the quick response. I'll try and contact the property owner tomorrow to see if he will be available on Saturday or Sunday. I'll let you know what his response is after I talk to him.2/17/2014Report a Violation
Response: ok great2/17/2014Report a Violation
Response: I called the property owner this morning (Tuesday, 2/18/14) and talked with him about picking up the backhoe attachment on either Saturday morning or Sunday morning before lunch. He told me that Saturday morning between 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. would be best for him. Also, will you have an additional helper(s) with you to help load and unload this backhoe attachment? This backhoe attachment weighs approximately 2000-2500 lbs (guessing) and with the outriggers and boom extended, will be awkward to load and secure on the trailer. Are you okay and comfortable with loading and unloading this backhoe attachment? 2/18/2014Report a Violation
Response: Sat is perfect. I will have my wife but should be able to load ok2/18/2014Report a Violation
Response: Please be careful! Safety first! This backhoe attachment will probably be tipy and unstable. Not sure whether the property owner will help you or not. He may. You will have to make sure that once the backhoe attachment is loaded onto the trailer that it is stable, balanced and secured from sticking out and falling over. 2/18/2014Report a Violation
Response: it will need to be layed down and secured to my will not be standing like it mounts to tractor. do you have a way to unload 2/18/2014Report a Violation
Response: Possibly. I have the same Ford 4500 tractor with a front bucket on it. It will probable lift the backhoe attachment off of the trailer or lift it high enough to pull the trailer out from under it. The only problem with it is that it has the same backhoe attachment already attached to it that's not working currently due to some missing hoses and I can't lift the bucket off the ground. We might be able to tie it off to a tree and gradually pull the trailer out from under it. We'll work something out! 2/18/2014Report a Violation
