Response: Sorry but thats just a guidline, this item ships at class 100 so the rate is slightly higher. You really cant go by those calculators. Please view our feedback we are a professional freight carrier. (6/18/2009)

Question: If it is used, I can offer insurance for an additional $10 cover up to $1100, but there is a $250 deductible. Has to be damage to the outside of the crate and the carrier has to find themselves at fault. You also have to sign for as it being damaged. (6/19/2009)
Question: If you have me buy the supplemental insurance: If the crate is in good condition when it arrives and you sign for it delivered in good order, and you open it up and there is damage...neither the carrier or the supplemental insurance will cover it. They will deem this to be improperly packaged and the crate should have protected it from this. The carrier has to find themselves at fault in order for the supplemental insurance to pay the claim, but you will have to pay the $250 deduct if you want them to pay the claim. The carrier will probably not let you open the crate to inspect it before signing it unless there is visible damage to the outside of the crate. (6/19/2009)
