Questions for this shipment:

Question: how soon will the auction end ? if u win i can pick up on your dates & deliver it within 5to6 days. i've delivered over 20 motorhomes. your mh will be delivered the same way it was pick up. we are fully insured & look foward to working with u. thanks (5/15/2006)
Response: The auction ends tonight (5/15/2006)
Question: do you have a target price? can it be driven? (5/15/2006)
Response: My target price is the lowest I can get. However, that assumes that I can come to a point where I trust the deliverer. (5/15/2006)
Question: I can pick up May 24th or 25 th and drive it to California by Sunday or Monday for $2000 (5/16/2006)
Response: I'm not sure how to do so, but please make that an official bid. (5/16/2006)
Question: Hello -- I would really love to do this for you. I own my own Class A motorhome and have driven many others. As an additional bonus to ensure your comfort, I live very close to you and we could meet before the shipment. Because uShip requires us to include all our costs in the bid, and in order to give you the best bid possible, it's important that I have an estimate of the fuel mileage for this vehicle before I submit a bid. If you know that and can reply to me with it, that would be great. If you don't have that information, just let me know and I can find it. Please review my profile and feedback by clicking on my user name, and ask any questions you may have. Thank you for your time and consideration. --Jim (5/16/2006)
Response: I don't have any empirical data on this rv, because it will be new to me. However, after some research, it appears others owning this model year get anywhere from 8-11 mpg. (5/16/2006)
Question: did u win the auction ? if so, i'll be picking up a boat in Al thursday & delivering it to Or. if u can ship this soon we can bring your mh along for 3700. after pick up we'll deliver it within 5to6 days. please check my feedback & get back with me soon. thanks (5/16/2006)
Response: I'm not sure how to do so, but please make that an official bid. (5/16/2006)
Question: As you consider saving a couple hundred dollars, also consider this - I do this professionally - For a living, and I won't be "bringing your mh along", nor will I be 'vacationing' in your motor home as I travel (that's why some bids for motorhome shipments look way too cheap - they are - you are providing the driver and his family with a paid vacation). I will have your motor home to you within 2 to 3 days, and that is all I will be doing during that time. Total attentioni to detail, and your property. Thanks, Dan (5/16/2006)
Response: I appreciate your comments. (5/16/2006)
Question: I have a good driver that has driven over 20 RV's from FL to CA over the yrs, & each of those customers were happy .... If this will be a no expense trip he can do it for $3000 The dates would have to be between The 19th-26th of May or June 10th on-ward... You can check our feedback for more info about Transtech & our services ... Thanx for your consideration .. Lee (5/17/2006)
Response: Excuse my ignorance on these matters, but what is a "no expense trip?" (5/17/2006)
Question: i will do this for you in mid june. i plan to drive it out taking about 4 days total. my bid to you would be all inclusive. that means no hidden extra's. there is no deposit and you may pay me in full when i arrive. be suspect of deposits. if a guy can not do the job w/ out your money in his pocket keep looking. i have a ton of positive feedback and have had rv's all my life. my cost to you would be 3600. when i get awarded a job i am the one who does it. if i may be of further help please respond. thanks and good luck (5/19/2006)
Question: No cost trip means ...... You will pay for all fuel & toll expenses ... Thats it ..."all bids must be all inclusive" -uShip Everything else will be cover, & your RV will be delivered right to your front door from its pick-up point ... Please let us know on this, as my driver has plenty of experence in these types of runs ... He knows the roads that aernt rough, the desert aera & the west coast ..... I hope you will consider Trans Tech for your RV transport .... Thanx a bunch .. Lee (5/19/2006)
Response: Thanks (5/19/2006)
Question: please don't get fooled into thinking you'll have to pay for fuel and expenses on top of the accepted bid amount. u ship clearly stated that a bid must be all inclusive. once a shipper accepts he is under no obligation to give a driver any more fuuds. if someone asks for money over & above the bid just flag them and after 3 flags they will get suspended...... (5/19/2006)
Question: Thanx for that info, no feebacker newbe .... Theres other ways to winning bids beside trying to bash the other haulers & make yourself look special (Like you know somethin) That game is played by children.... You would just love to see people get suspended, that are doin the same as you ... Tryin to make a living & takecare of their family ..... I have a wife & 4 kids, so when I drive, I drive for them, NOT ME ... And thats why I dont pay attention to bashers like you .... No Respect for anyone but themselves ... You also forgot to tell the customer that USHIP takes 7% if the bid is excepted.. .....So 7% plus fuel & expenses .....Its an RV remember .. You like to work for free do you ...? (5/20/2006)
Question: My bid still stands @ $3000 all expenses paid .. Meaning, we will cover the cost of fuel/tolls & otherwise .... Our company Insurance will cover this trip, & my driver will have to catch a flight back to FL after drop off .... So our only request would be a ride to the airport after delivery if thats is ok ... Thanxs for your continued consideration of Trans Tech for all your transport needs ... Lee (5/20/2006)
Question: I am looking over some of the Q/A's and bids and would like to jump in here if your still looking for a driver. Last year I was awarded through Uship Ten 32' RVs to be moved from Orlando to New Jersey. Most of my clientle are NOT Uship (references are available to you via email)as Uship Shippers and Bidders are generally looking to cut costs as opposed to spending more for right fit. My Bid would be all an inclusive "Estimate" to deliver your RV from Florida to califronia. When I say estimate it is because Uship wants their commission on the full bid, however we both know it would so impossible to properly estimate the expenses of Driving this vehicle across country. I would retain actual receipts for travle along with a required travel to the vehicle and return airfare upon delivery. YOU would nOT pay anything more than the actual expenses plus my driver fee, which of course is what I earn for this 3-4 day delivery. Total Committment is to your vehicle. Kindly advise current status. (5/21/2006)
Response: What is your bid? (5/21/2006)
Question: The only thing I can do is place a bid that Guarantees me a daily driver fee. The remainderof my all inclusive bid would be "estimated" based on the MPG your RV gets and the cost of fuel, overnight lodging(unless the RV is properly available to handle that and save this expense...please advise me of that)my cost of travel to the vehicle and return back home (airfare)Tolls if any and the matching Uship Fee on this "estiamted Bid" so Uship can collect their commssion. Our agreement woould bind us to my Guaranteed Driver Fee, My Transportation to/from pickup/delivery and then ACTUAL RECEIPTS FOR ALL TRAVEL EXPENSES of gas, tolls, etc of which we shall deal with them upon delivery and adjust the bid accordingly. Just so you know my bid would tend to be sometimes estimated higher than what an actual expense is, howveer by going this route neither of us is shortchanged as I can collect my driver and you covering the expenses. One thing is certain, I would look yto deliver ASAP once picked up (5/22/2006)
Question: What year and length is your Bounder. We deliver new Fleetwoods from the plants in Pa. Indiana, and California. So if you are looking for a couple that specializes in these types of transports instead of rookie vacationers, we're the ones for you! References will be provided. You can also have further feedback to review on ebay. Kmatt1023. Our bid would be a buck a mile... Thanks... Kevin... (5/23/2006)
Question: As I said, my driver has done many of these runs in the past .... Just for reference to all the other drivers out-there ... The average fuel cost to drive this baby out west would be $750-$800 ... That is what his average has been consisting of over 20 drives west in the same exact RV .... Just wanted to add that in there ... Lee Trans Tech (5/23/2006)
Response: One additional note: the rig will be filled when it is picked up. (5/23/2006)
Question: Are you willing to pick up motorhome in Riverside? Thanks... Kevin... (5/23/2006)
Response: For the right bid, yes. (5/23/2006)
Question: What year is this RV? Thanks... Kevin... (5/23/2006)
Response: 1999 (5/23/2006)
Question: Did you purchase on Ebay? I would like to look at additional pics of tires, ect... The more I know, the better the bid! Thanks... Kevin... (5/23/2006)
Question: Hi, do you still need this transported? I've placed a bid, but need to hear from you soon. If you could advise me of the status of the shipment, I would appreciate it very much. Thanks--Dan (5/24/2006)
Response: This bid is still active. (5/24/2006)
Question: We hav'nt forgot about you! Just trying to connect dots before placing bid! Thanks... Kevin... (5/24/2006)
Response: Better make it quick...I wanted to make a choice today (5/24/2006)
Question: Our bid would be 2000 to Riverside with 1/4 tank of fuel at delivery. Could pick up sometime next week. Do you want me to place that bid? Thanks... Kevin... We have worked for the company that transports all the new Fleetwoods from the plants to the dealers for the past 6 years... Thanks... Kevin... (5/25/2006)
Response: I think you need to make that an actual bid. (5/25/2006)
Question: not telling you what to do but HALF the money up front,no feedback and if you did retract the match there would be NO fee (5/25/2006)
Question: My astute colleague has made a couple good points. First, it's true that I have no feedback on uShip. That is why I offered my modest proposal. uShip did not always allow match retractions, but apparently they do now, (thanks to our mutual friend for pointing that out), so I amend that proposal to say that in the event of retraction you would only need to pay my uShip fee if uShip did in fact charge me--you would be able to verify this with uShip. The rest remains the same: I would provide you with references to make up for my lack of feedback. For what it's worth, you can also look at my eBay feedback under old_dans_records (go to "feedback forum" in lower left corner of eBay homepage). Finally, I would still require the deposit. That is for my security: when I am buying plane tickets and trying to schedule multiple shipments, an unexpected cancellation ends up costing me a lot of money. I try to avoid that. Hope that clarifies things a bit. Good luck--Dan (5/25/2006)
Question: I don't see this listing... Did you cancel? Thanks... Kevin... (5/25/2006)
Response: The rig was relisted and I bought it on the second auction. (5/25/2006)
Question: I must be crazy because that listing is not showing up in Florida. Thanks... Kevin... (5/25/2006)
Question: I think your listing expired! [email address removed] (5/25/2006)
Question: This listing has expired or has disappeared, I'm not sure which... (5/25/2006)
Response: The original ebay listing did not meet the reserve. The rig was relisted, and I bought it on the relisting. If you click the "view eBay description" link above, you will see the original listing. (5/25/2006)
Question: I must be crazy but that listing was not on here for the last 18 hours, plus I got red flagged for responding to a listing that was no longer on here. This system stinks! I'd like to be able to help you out here but I've just about had it with this form of doing business! (5/26/2006)
Question: I'm following your lead, great deal on that bounder, Jim did you right, be sure to thank him, again... We look forward to transporting your Bounder. (5/26/2006)
