Shipper: What is the lowest height you can get this boat?

Response: : Hello Frank. Thank you for your reply. I do highly recommend me to take it off or lowered. Ocean Freight rates goes in over all measurements. Other wise it will be very expensive and you would be paying for air or ot shipping at all. 11/13/2009

What is the arriving port or marina of your choice ? Is the boat prepared for offshore sailing ? I can see a windvane rudder, is there a liferaft and EPIRB on board ? When do you want the pickup and when do you want the arrival ?

Response: Arriving port is Baarn,close to Amsterdam, Holland There is no lifraft or EPIRB as of now. Picup or arrival not set, any suggestion? Thanks,Frank11/16/2009

Response: Might do,depending on your total costs of crossing to Amsterdam, also like your total price offer to take her to Savannah GA., as shipping with a Yacht Transporter from there might be an option, then it will be lifted directly from alongside that vessel. Response: : Taking her to Savannah is no option for me (us), as we are European citizens, I guess we will need work permits in US for that. I will give a bid and also give you our CV's should you think our offer is acceptable. To keep the cost down, a secondhand liferaft will do, (up to date), EPIRB we can do without.11/16/2009

Not sure who you are looking to insure with but i would recommend Pantaenius, they are about the only insurance company that will insure the rigging without a survey and will insure for odd placed ( i have had boats insured for Arctic and Gulf of Aden). if you get the boat back to Europe i would be happy to give a quote to move her to your home port.
