Fiberglass Aerobic Septic Tanks

Shipment Details: Two fiberglass aerobic tanks with accessories to be shipped from Dayton, OH to Penn Yan, NY. Each weighs 485 lbs., is 73" wide and 66" tall. They are cone shaped and can be shipped on their side if braced properly. Hauler will need some padding/bracing and straps to be sure they don't move in transit, as they are fiberglass and will wear if subjected to rubbing.
Packaging: No packaging, tops are loose fitting and must be strapped down.

Dimensions:Each tank is 73" wide, 66" tall

Response: the common carrier rate was $675. and we are trying to do this for less money. At this point the tanks have not moved but we are probably going to use common carrier next week if we don't get a better quote than tne freight rate.8/20/2006

The tank you have pictured looks to be about 7' tall and 5' wide . Are you sure on the 66" tall and 73" wide measurements? I have a 15' moving truck and would like to move the tanks for you. Would $575.00 sound okay? Let me know and I'll submit a bid. Thanks, Delboy

Response: the measurements are correct, the top on the tank is removeable. The tanks can be put inside one another to a degree, but there is s ring inside that has to be protected. We were trying to stay below $500. let me know if this will work for you.8/21/2006
