Questions for this shipment:

Question: Just so you're aware, your peice of equipment weighs 56 tons with the blade and the ripper. You're going to need permits and escorts. I'm only telling you this, because you have the weight listed as less than 10,000 pounds. (6/22/2007)
Response: Of course I relize this weighs over 9999 pounds that is all they would allow on the site. The blade is about 15 ft wide and I was debating about taking it off a shipping it seperate since I have a 24' flatbed truck which would be able to haul it. I don't know how much permits would cost but if the blade comes off then it should be within legal dimensions except for weight, so I don't know if an escort is required. If you can't ship it maybe you can give me a rough idea of what to expect... Thanks (6/24/2007)
Response: Well, I mentioned it to a freind of mine in the heavy haul business, and he said that it's going to require eleven axles. He's only set up for seven, so he can't help. He did tell me that you'll be looking at well over $10,000. Good Luck!!! (6/24/2007)
Question: Have you checked the actual dimensions of the crawler ? Obviously teh weight is way off. What is the width and height of the crawler? What is the width of the blade? I do not believe it has a 8 ft blade. It is actually probaly at least 13ft. Bill (6/22/2007)
Question: FWIW, pull the blade. You'll still need an oversize permit regardless. I "belive" they are all of 15 bucks. At 16' they have an additional 20 dollar charge. Over 12'4" you'll need an escort. Any heavy hauler worth their salt will know how to get all this done for you anyways... Good luck with the move. (6/27/2007)
Question: I need to know the real weight and dimensions (6/28/2007)
