Response: We actually have help in the morning for loading the truck. We have driven big trucks before but so far this move has seemed so much harder. We came here from Orlando to get our stuff out of storage in Clarksville. My mom has gotten to the point where she is just frustrated and no longer wants to drive the rest of the way. What would you charge to drive our truck to Vegas? (8/4/2009)

Response: I will drive it for $400.00 plus whatever a plane or bus ticket home would cost. I can sleep in the truck but would like to use motel room to shower on any overnight stays. I will buy my own food since I would have to eat anyway. I will also need a ride to the bus station or airport when job is done. Any help unloading the truck would be extra. (8/5/2009)

Response: Ok let me talk to my mom about this. Sounds like a good deal to me. I would hate for you to have to sleep in the truck. As of right now we think we have help unloading the truck. Just to give you more info it is a 26 ft. truck with a car carrier. My mom and I would ride in the truck with you as well as my 2 cats which are in carriers and sleep most of the time. They get a little upset when the truck first gets going but then they calm down. We are packing the truck this morning so will not be online again until early afternoon. How used to driving a big truck are you? The car carrier says not to drive over 55 mph. So how long do you think it would take? Thanks in advance. (8/5/2009)

Response: I have driven trucks like this before moving my daughter from Indianapolis to St Paul, Mn and towing her Jeep Cherokee. Probably looking at 30 to 35 hours travel time, If you want to help drive and can switch off, we could push straight through. (8/5/2009)

Response: My mom seems very happy about this. When could you leave? Where exactly do you live? we are staying at the hilton garden inn by the summit but our storage is in clarksville. we are supposed to check out of the hotel today but could stay another night if you couldn't leave until tomorrow morning. my mom has no problem helping drive through kansas or other flatter areas. we can get you a bus ticket back. We have some hotels booked along the way which i have had to adjust several times now. are you more of a day or night person? we have no problem keeping going or stopping if needed. we are flexible. this trip has been a disaster so far so we are just greatful for the help. Mom says showers are fine, we do have a suite booked in albuquerque so you could have the living room with pull out sofa. Mom said she can help with your food too or whatever. we don't have a lot of money but glad to do what we can. (8/5/2009)

Response: ok well the storage unti is done. we did extend the hotel for tonight. I will double check with my mom in case she would want to leave this evening. to me it makes more sense to leave here in the morning. that way we can all get a good night of sleep. i was so stressed about mom not wanting to drive the truck and the whole storage unit/mover thing that i was awake most of last night. would you be able to get a ride over here in the morning or drive over here?
