Response: do you have a truck with a lift gaye on the rear? we can palletize the engine, but itis on a rolling stand. we have a forklift at the delivery location. but would need help getting the engine on the truck. please let me know. also would the engine be ok being shipped as you see it in the picture as long as it was on a pallet. or would it have to be covered? or boxed in? thanks (11/4/2008)
Response: Hello Shipper, We have placed our new bid for $380.00 We will send our truck with a lift gate and pallet jack. And we will load it up at pick up location. Your shipment must be palletized and secured. Your shipment will be inside a truck and does not has to be cover as long as it’s on a pallet and secured /strap/ to it. (11/5/2008)

Response: don't really know for sure. there are some finacial things that have to be worked out first and then the palletizing. i was price shopping to see what it was going to cost me to get the engine to florida. did i ask you if it could be shipped on the pallet with the cradle and no cover? Response: does you truck have a lift back? we have a fork lift at the destination, but i don't know about at the pick up point. the engine is on a rolling stand and on a pallet. i think we can get it on your truck , but then might need a pallet jack to move it where you want it on the truck. can you handle this? and does it need to be covered in anyway? you see the picture. my best price i have recievd to this point is $380.00. let me know if you have any other questions or answers for me. thanks.... tony (11/11/2008)

Question: hey, I am a soldier and will be on my R&R leave in about 2 weeks, and will be traveling from the FT Hood, area, to FL for a week, and then returning before I head back to Afghanistan. I can do this trip for you for 250 in fuel money to help offset my vacation fuel price. I have done this before, so please check out my feedback. I will need some assistance in getting it loaded into my truck bed. I have a camper topper on the truck so it will be covered the whole way, and I dont need a pallet. Response: this sounds great to me. we can get itin your truck. we your truck handle a 700 lb. engine?. this engine means alot to me and is an antique so i am very concerned that it makes it ok and unharmed. we have a fork lift and a pallet jack at the delivery site. but what kind of truck do you have? how would we get it off. we can get in on with a front end loader at the pickup point. maybe we could rig a ramp with a come along to roll it off a bit at a time. can you strap it down ok? what branch of the service are you in? i am a viet nam vet. thanks for your service to our country. my name is tony i don't want this ad to expire before we make arrangements. i have to see how soon the pickup point can have the engine ready to go. it should be no problem. let me know. Response: I am in the Army. Currently in the Kandahar province of Afghanistan. I have a 2007 Chevy HD2500 Crew Cab Short Bed, 4x4, duramax diesel, with a camper topper that has a full length rear door. The truck will handle the load no issues! I can strap it down with ratchet straps to hold it in place (all 4 corners of my truck) with the engine centered over the axle in the center of the bed. I am certain we can rig something to get it in and out without damage. we should be able to push it up a ramp with 2 or 3 guys without too much difficulty. -Ed (11/14/2008)
