Question: Hello. Could you provide the following information about your shipment: (1)How many steps are involved in the pick-up & delivery locations? (2)Will there be help available (if needed) for the pick-up & delivery locations? (3)Will pick-up on 10/12--10/13, with delivery within 7 days work? (4)Can you accept a formal bid of $225.00? Fully licensed & insured carrier. Documentation (including insurance certificate) provided upon acceptance of formal bid. Thanks & I look forward to your reply. Best regards, "Greyhound" (Kelly Freight Services) (10/9/2009)

Response: I don't think there are any stairs at the p/u. Delivery @ my house goes down 7/8 stairs but I'll have help with me for that. I'm sure the seller will help you load onto a truck.
10/12-1/13 if fine...and 7 days should work too.
I $225 will work, I need to go back & see how you are shipping.

Response: Hi & thanks for your reply. I would be shipping aboard a 14 foot box truck, with wrapping as may be necessary to provide protection for your shipment. Please ask any questions you may have. Best regards, Tony K. ("Greyhound"--Kelly Freight Services) (10/9/2009)

Response: Not sure what 14 ft means...Can the cooler transport standing up? 6ft tall.
My concetrns are the fluids and protecting the glass door
Thanks!

Response: Hi again. "14 foot" refers to the length of my truck. I have plenty of interior height for this item to be transported upright. I have sufficient protective equipment to provide for protection of the entire item & especially the classwork. As noted within my bid, I am also fully insured (as required by federal law) for cargo insurance. My bid is good until tomorrow noon. Best regards, Tony K. Response: Great, thanks for the detail. I am trying to finalize the purchase and hope to have an answer very soon.
Thanks!

Response: Very good. I'll keep space available until tomorrow, no problem. But even if I don't end up with the job, please be sure that whoever you choose has proper USDOT Authority (licensing) to operate in interstate commerce, & has proper cargo insurance. These are required by federal law & will avoid the risk of having your shipment seized. (Yes, it can happen. Cargo is frequently seized from illegal conveyances--use of a legal service such as mine removes the worry. It also removes the worry about insurance in case of damage.) Best regards, Tony K. Response: Seller wants cash. I may have to drive there (YUK!) unless I can find another way to get him paid. (10/9/2009)

Response: Can ypou overnight a Postal Money Order? Same as cash. Wow. If you're going to drive there, you may as well bring it back yourself if you have the equipment....Please keep me posted. Best regards, Tony K. (10/9/2009)

Question: Hi, Ted. How much cash is involved in the purchase? Best regards, Tony K. ("Greyhound"--Kelly Freight Services) (10/9/2009)

Response: $500 (10/9/2009)

Response: Hi, Ted. If the seller is insistant on cash, one option is that you could get a Postal Money Order & overnight it to me. (Contact information will be available upon acceptance of my bid.) I'll cash it & take the money with me to pay him ay pick-up. It will at least save you the trip. The only thing is that I can't be responsible for the item in any capacity other than transporting it--I'm happy to do this, as long as you understand that I can't be put "in the middle" if it turns out not to be what you wanted. (Not much different than if you sent him the money--you still wouldn't see it until it got delivered.) If you click on the blue numbers on my Profile page, you can at least verify that I exist! Please let me know what you think. regards, Tony K. (10/9/2009)

Response: Yes, the seller has agreed to this. I will approve your bid and send the order to you.
Thanks!
