Questions for this shipment:
Question:
When do you want this done? What is your target price? (4/24/2009)
Response:
Lowest possible price. Time frame: We would like it pulled on the trailer we have for the boat but my husband needs to get to NJ to replace the wheels, they are old and may not make the trip! I haven't spoken to him but he probably could go out the first weekend in May so p/u could be the 3rd?! Does that help? Thanks, Amy (4/24/2009)
Response:
Ok that works. I can do it the 3rd or later if needed. I would bid $2550 that includes $100,000 cargo insurance to cover your boat and trailer plus all tolls. (4/24/2009)
Response:
I've spoken to my husband since I responded. He said if you could put my boat and trailer on another trailer, he wouldn't have to go to NJ. Can you do that? What would be the bid? Thanks, Amy (4/24/2009)
Response:
It would cost alot more. About $4800. I would have no problem getting new wheels and tires for the trailer. I work on all my equipment myself. I would do it for cost. (4/24/2009)
Question:
Hi Shipper; I notice there are a few points to consider here. Need to get new "wheels" (is that only tires or both?). I'm delivering a 5th wheel from CA to CT on the 3d or 4th of May; I'll be within 200mi of you. UShip requires that we transporters give an "all-inclusive" bid. Since I need to provide an "all-inclusive" bid, if you will tell me what you need to pay for tires, or tires & wheels, I'll develop a bid that includes new tires (or tires & wheels), getting them mounted and balanced, and delivering your boat and trailer to your delivery point. Pickup can be within 1 or 2 days after my delivery in CT. I will deliver to you within 6 days thereafter. Also, check out my profile under 'theobrian'. Also, I've owned my own 14'-68' boats. Thanks! Brian MacLaine (4/24/2009)
Response:
Dear Theobrian, We don't have our act together enough to be able to accept your very attractive bid. We're sorry, thanks for your time in submitting a bid. Amy (4/27/2009)
Response:
Thanks for your update - understand! However, if you decide to go ahead, please consider me by the 3rd or 4th of May. May your blessings be abundant. Brian MacLaine 'theobrian' (4/28/2009)
Question:
For me to haul your boat and trailer on my goose neck trailer which is 26' long wouldn't cost you more and it would save your tires and bearings on your trailer. In my opinion it is a much better way to transport a boat that far. If you folks can help load the boat tongue first so that the boat trailer ball receiver fits over the ball that I had built onto my trailer. I will haul it for you for 2550., if you can accept my bid right a way. I have a winch to pull the boat onto my trailer. Thanks, Carrie (4/25/2009)
Question:
WE HAVE PLACED A BID FROM ( AUTOKRAFT123 ) THIS IS TO LOAD ONTO OUR 51FT. SELF LOADING TRAILER THIS SAVES ANT TIRE OR BEARING PROBLEMS AND WE ARE U.S.DOT-MC LEGAL CLICK ON OUR NAME NEXT TO OUR BID TO SEE FEED BACK AND PICTURES ITS BEST TO CHECK EVERY ONES FEEDBACK AND DOT-MC NUMBERS. THANKS AUTOKRAFT123 (4/27/2009)
