Questions for this shipment:

Question: I use a roll back tow truck and will be in vegas early part of next week. Once I have my dates confirmed I'll sumbit a bid if this type of transport is acceptable. Thanks Ian (spazster34) Johansen Second Chances Transport Kennewick WA (8/21/2008)
Response: Ian, I'm picturing a "roll back tow truck" as a flatbed which tilts and lowers to touch the ground at a fairly shallow angle... correct? If so I think it will work. At the pickup address there is a forklift available which can be used to load if required, and the unit should be able to roll off for delivery under its own power (though we might want to have a winch cable hooked up just in case). Thanks, Dave (8/22/2008)
Response: You're picturing correct. Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I was out on a run and just got home tonight. I have a winch on the truck for load and unloading purposes as well. I'm currently duein Vegas this week and the day just depends on what other work I can secure. I need to scour something up from the destination area. I'll place my bid of 900 as soon as I do. Thanks for you consideration, Ian (spazster34) Johansen Second Chances Transport Kennewick WA (8/23/2008)
Question: What would you consider a fair price range? Thanks Ian (8/24/2008)
Response: Ian, I'm looking for about 600 or so. The low bidder so far was fly-by-night and probably unrealistically low, but the next highest was legit. (They cancelled their bid, I'm sure because they filled the truck.) Since I'm flexible on dates I think if I wait I can get someone to fill a truck with my load at about $600. Any chance of you finding some additional cargo? Dave PS - I "requested a rebid" hoping it would give me the opportunity to have exactly this exchange with you. (8/24/2008)
Response: Ok now that I have an idea I'll rebid. Not yet on the other work , but I'm sure I'll come up with something. I'm pretty flexible with people so I'm sure I can drum something up. Thanks for offer to do the job and the bid is below and close to what you want. Thanks again, Ian (spazster34) Johansen Second Chances Transport Kennewick WA (8/24/2008)
