Response: Thanks for replying. The projected completion date for the trailer is around Sept 1st. No exact date yet. Looking to get close to $500 as I have a bid in the 5's right now from another uShip member. (8/18/2009)

Question: We could get this done on your timetable. The best (lowest) we can go is $582 which covers fuel (for our 2005 Chevy Silverado 4x4 2500HD Duramax Diesel), my uship fees & time. We transport only one shipment at a time and check it every 200 miles - and every time we stop. We are trackable on our profile page and keep in contact by phone. Oh, and we'd leave your trailer empty if it ships empty - some TSPs are able to transport at a cheaper rate due to putting a load inside your trailer, and we don't want to be responsible for any damage done to the inside of your trailer so we won't - but we may not be the "cheapest" rate you receive for that reason. If you'd like us to bid please advise us of that so we can work on finding shipments nearby to help offset the cost of fuel to get down there from VA. Looking forward to working with you. Response: Thank you for the interest. The trailer is a small car hauler, 8.5'x16'. Ball should be a 2 5/16". FYI- the remaining active bids here are at the target price or below. This request for bids will probably expire before I get a completion date from the factory, so I will probably send out a direct request when I receive word. (8/26/2009)

Response: Greg, The factory did not call me back today to confirm the trailer is finished and clear, even thought they said I would hear by noon. Like you suggested, I want to make sure before I click on the accept bid. Primarily so you guys don't get screwed if they aren't ready. I don't expect a problem. I'll call them in the morning after they open and verify it's ready. I am also getting the certified check to FedEx to them tomorrow, so they will have payment as soon as possible before Wed. morning. Please consider this a go for next Wed.
