Question:
8/7/2009
I'm an outfitter here in New Mexico and I ship the meat from about 25 to 75 elk, deer, antelope, and oryx to my clients every year. I found the best way to do it is to buy those 48qt coolers at Walmart ($20 each) then pack the meat in the coolers with a little bit of dry ice and ship them UPS ground on a MONDAY. It is best to ship it in Dec or Jan when it is colder. It cost about dollar to dollar and a half per pound of meat shipped. Hope this helps. Jess Rankin Report a Violation
