Questions for this shipment:

Question: IM GUESSING THAT NOT ONLY IS THE WEIGHT ACTUALY MORE THAN LISTED BUT THAT YOU KNOW THAT NOBODY IS GOING TO MOVE ANYTHING 750+ MILES FOR $70 just so you know you are looking at an average of $1.00 PER MILE AND WITH THE FUEL PRICES HIGHER YOU COULD BE LOOKING AT $ 1.50 HIGH END . IF YOU NEED HELP WITH THIS CORRECT THE U SHIP AD AND /OR LET US KNOW. (7/5/2007)
Response: You are right, I don't know anything about the shipping. I didn't even know uship existed until a few days ago. The piano is a baby, baby grand, small and light weight. The legs come off and it can lay flat. It is possible to fit into the back of a regular size van. It is at my in-laws who are giving it to me but I'm just trying to see how to get it here. I thank you for letting me know about the shipping info and I will see if I can adjust my ad. Carolyn (7/5/2007)
Response: you are looking at 475 + uship most likely (7/9/2007)
Question: I would do this for 500 in the next week or so. Check my profile and you will see that I have alot of experience with pianos. Is the weight real accurate? Let me know your thoughts? (7/10/2007)
Response: The piano is an electric baby, baby grand. The legs can be removed so it can sit easily and I know it is pretty light weight compared to a regular piano. Two people can lift it no problem. It can actually fit in the back of a dodge caravan. It measures 55" by 40". The piano is a gift from my mother-in-law to my daughter but she is in Mexico at the moment so I can't ask her the exact weight of the piano but I know it's lighter than most because it is electric. (7/10/2007)
Response: Ok, let me know when you find out, and we'll go from there. Thanks for the response back. I will do what I can to help you out! (7/10/2007)
Question: Is this the actual picture of the grand? And did you find out the weight yet? I will be transporting up there after the 24th, and we will get something figured out then! (7/14/2007)
Response: Ok, I found out a little more on the piano. It is a Samick digital baby grand piano though I can't find a website or get an offical weight, my father-in-law says that two people can "very easily lift it", his words. I hope this helps sorry I can't be more specific. Please let me know if you still interested. Thanks (7/18/2007)
Response: The weight will have to accept whatever it is. But the demensions seem off looking at the picture. It appears to look wider than 55" and taller than 36" and I guess the other dimension listed as L 40" would be the depth? I am trying to visualize how this can fit in my trailer. But if you have hauled it in a minivan, I am sure it wont be a problem! Just double check the sizes, and let me know if I am seeing this with all 4 legs being off, and standing on its edge, or back on the floor. Then it would be about 5 feet wide, 3 feet tall, and 3 1/2 deep. Does that about sum it up? (7/18/2007)
Response: The picture is a little deceiving, it does make is look longer but the length is 55 inches long and the widith is 40 inches. The height with the legs on is about 36 inches but again, my father in law said the legs do come off. I haven't actually hauled it in my van I just measured my van, a dodge caravan, and it would fit with room to spare. So it is about 4 1/2 feet long, 3 1/2 feet wide and I'm not sure how tall with no legs, I'd guess about a foot high? Hope that helps. (7/18/2007)
Response: Yes that helps, Thanks! I will plan on coming through Ogden on the 25th and have it to you on the 26th. You cover the Uship fee, and I will take care of everything else for the 500 I promised. Do you have any other questions or concerns? (7/18/2007)
Response: Yes, I have one question. What is the Uship fee? I am new to uship and don't know what that is. Thanks (7/19/2007)
Response: Its around 8-10% of the quote. I will submit the b (7/19/2007)
