Questions for this shipment:

Question: Can you haqve this strapped to a pallet or boxed/crated for pickup and shipping? Interested in making bid but need to know,. Thanks (10/27/2009)
Response: I need a company who is willing to do this for me. I am the buyer and the seller can plastic wrap it, but does not have crates or crate straps there. I care more about the safety and packaging of the equipment than the cost, so if you have the ability to have this done that is really what i need. (10/27/2009)
Response: I amy be able to provide a pallet and have it strapped to it for shipping will get back to you. What is the value of the machine? Thanks (10/28/2009)
Response: 8000$ (10/28/2009)
Response: We can provide services for $650 I ust need to confirm that a pallet can be provided. Thanks (10/28/2009)
Response: I will take that offer if you can do it. (10/28/2009)
Response: Pickup schedule options: 5 trucks available fri in area mon 6 trucks tues 1 avail. Wed 2 avail thurs 3 avail fri 9 in area 6 on mon 6 tues 3 wed 2 thursm let me know what's best (10/30/2009)
Question: If this can be put on pallet or boxed/crated for shipping then we can provide services for $265 which includes fuel and insurance with a 4-5 day transit time with a name brand carrier but for insurance purposes I will need it to be strapped to pallet or boxed/crated. Please let me know,. thanks (10/27/2009)
Response: The seller wanted local pickup, but said he could wrap it in shrink wrap. I really need someone to crate it or put it on a pallet wrapped in padding etc. All something I am willing to pay for, but do not have anyway of doing it myself. It is an expensive piece of equipment, so I care more about the care of the equipment than the price of the shipping. (10/27/2009)
Response: I will look into cost of such services needed. Itis considered "white glove" service I will ck to see if one of my carriers can provide a pallet at time of pickup and let you know tomorrow. Thanks for getting back to me (10/27/2009)
Response: I am still waiting on you. I got another bid similar to the one you emailed, but have not received an official bid. You have taken the most time and have asked the most important and functional questions in my mind, so I want to choose you, but I need to know if the bid is coming or not. thanks Rex (10/29/2009)
Response: My carriers cannot guarantee that they will arrive at pickup with palet needed so I do not want to risk damage or refusal at pickup. I can offer services at amount quoted with a top notch name brand carrier including fuel and insurance with a 4-5 business day transit but will need you to purchase pallet from one of multiple companies who specialize in providing industrial skids...One company may be local since it is a national company with 100's of locations. If that works then I will take the cost of $25 off rate to compensate you for that cost. Please let me know. Also once it is secured to skid it will be fine for transit its just that that service is considered "white glove" and fees vary for that service most charge rediculous amounts if they offer that at all. I really want to provide service so I will help make this as easy as possible where I can. Please let me know .thanks (10/29/2009)
Response: If they can get a pallet there will they have the ability to strap it to the pallett. I can probably have the seller put it on a pallett, but I doubt he has adequate straps or equipment to strap it to the pallett. also I am concerned about padding. what do you think. You really have been by far the best person in communication with me. (10/29/2009)
Response: Thanks. We ship this type of freight regularly most of the time its a lot bigger but I provided services for a relative recently who had same issues so I know what it entails....Once again we can request straps but these carriers dont specialize in providing that service so it depends on the actual driver and terminal manager who handles pick up...I would suggest shipper purchases standard nylon straps easily found at stores like a home depot most of them handle up to 2000lbs minimum and arent expensive....Carrier will strap/secure it to inside of truck for transit but thats all they really have to provide...I dont want to mislead you. (10/29/2009)
Question: HELLO SHIPPER, I am new to uship but i have a load going out west in my cargo van, if i can wrap for you and put on a pallet and padding, how soon would you want to move on this (10/28/2009)
Response: I want it as soon as possible. but I do not have a deadline. THat is what i need. I care more about the padding and protection than time that is for sure. (10/28/2009)
Question: (10/28/2009)
Question: WHATS the magic number to make this shipment happen (10/28/2009)
Response: I don't have a very good basis to go off of. I have looked at doing shipping through ups or fedex freight and the number they give me is around 400 but I don't know what care they will give in packing it. Information I would like is expected delivery date ( i am flexible, but would like to generally know) and cost, with the understanding that it will be well padded and well secured during shipping. I would like to insure it if possible. insurance rates have come in around 80$ with UPS freight. (10/28/2009)
Question: I CANT beat 400 for secure svc i would need 750. (10/28/2009)
Response: thats not out of line. let me get back to you. I am at lunch and I will talk to my business partner when I get back. that price is in line with what I was expecting. (10/28/2009)
Question: ok thanks (10/28/2009)
Question: Its your call . Look over #s put together...we will plan (10/30/2009)
