Response: Shipper, I had a client not long ago who used "credit card miles" to get airline tickets. Another option for you is I will bid $1000. if you will pay for transportation for me to and from Florence, SC and of course fuel and tolls for your RV. Response: Jim, It is in the shop to make sure all is good, was missing a little but they are going to tune it up. So I think that Thursday, Friday or Sat would be great. Response: Hi Shannon, Thanks for your prompt reply. First, judging from my experience with shops, I'd say plan for the worst, Saturday, and hope for the best. My home is in Camarillo, CA, about half way between Santa Barbara and Los Angeles, and I would be flying in from there. The best (least expensive) flights go into JFK, but to save you the drive in there, I can easily take the trains out to your preferred train station, for a pick-up there; I don't mind. What about on the other end? Any help getting back up to SLC airport? I'm rarely your least (or most) expensive option but I'm safe, dependable, flexible, and fair. At 5 mpg (your number) and Premium fuel, I figure about $1,175 for gas, plus about $50 for tolls (I'm not sure but I-80 is full of toll booths until you get west of Chicago, could easily be more), is $1,225 for the aforementioned fuel and toll allowance; my bid would be about $2,250; at 6 mpg, about $200 less; Mid-grade or Regular, lesser still.
