Response: We have full coverage insurance on all our trucks as well as contents carried inside the trucks, your package will be inside the cab of the truck and would be covered. Response: My client is looking for insurance that protects not only against accident or damage but also against non-delivery, on time, etc. Unfortunately, while you are probably very trustworthy and honest, U=Ship has it's share of shippers that have not performed well at all. Have you gone to the "Community" tab and read some of the horror stories? Frankly, I can't blame him. The item only has a $500.00 value (it is a used transmission) but he does not want to take the risk of loss. (9/22/2007)

Question: We are new to USHIP however we are becoming organized and trying this route for new opportunities. But the owner of this company and his drivers have been delivering for various stores throughout MI and he and his drivers have a stellar track record. We are giving you references you may call. Please feel free to call Jeff Jiles at Atomic Motorsports in Monroe, MI as wells as John Vergona at Chamipon Power Sports in Belleville, MI and also a Jim Lafarra at Michigan Power Sports in Ann Arbor MI. When you call ask them about Terry Barnhart and they will tell you that I have done hundreds of deliveries for them and I am the man to get the job done. Almost all of the deliveries loaded on my trucks have been valued at $50,000 to $100,000 and they always get there in the time desired. I was formally a UPS Supervisor so I have been in the delivery business for over 15 years. Hope this helps you to decide on our business. Thank you for your time and the other information. Response: Will it not allow you to simply put the phone numbers in the response? Regarding when we can commit it will not be until after my buyer has contacted the references you sent. I think it is a violation of U-Ship policy to communicate outside of this format and I think it deletes email addresses you try to send so I don't know how to get you the email address. If it also deletes the reference phone numbers you could try doing the first 3 digits and then the word next then the next 3 digits and the word next and then the last 4 digits. (9/23/2007)
Response: I tried several ways and it will not let us post the numbers for references. We do not want to jeopardize this new account in anyway. If it is not too much to ask can you just call information in Michigan and get the numbers to Atomic Power Sports in Monroe MI and ask for Jeff Jiles the store Manager he will gladly give you a refernce. The same for Nicholson's Power Sports in Ann Arbor Store Manager is Jimmy Mufarra. We have to be in NJ tomorrow on another delivery please advise as soon as you can. Sorry for the inconvenience. Response: I have given my buyer the information. I do not have his phone number and can only contact via email. I have emailed him three times and he has not yet responded. If he responds and advises that he wants to accept the bid I will do so immediately. He typically does not respond on weekends. He also needs to check the references as he said he wanted to do that before accepting the bid. (9/23/2007)
