Question: Hi! If table is packaged with legs removed, And China cabinet is not particularly large or heavy, We could pick this up, pack everything very carefully, padded and even boxed, and deliver for less than $500. But you will need two people at the other end to unload and bring into the house at this price. If you can give me the dimensions of everything, and if the china cabinet is fragile or very heavy, I can give you a full-service estimate, with two people to unload at the other end. Response: 8 Chairs: W. 20", L. 20", H. 40". China closet (2 pieces). Bottom: L. 57.5", H. 29", W. 17" Top: L. 55", H. 37.5", W. 11" Table: 62" X 44" +2 Leaves: 18" X 44" each +2 Legs: 32" X 28" X 12 6 folding chairs. The 1st option sounds fine (8/15/2005)
Question: Hi! My shippers say they can take it and deliver residence to residence for $475, but it all has to packaged and boxed thoroughly first, and you have to help unload and load- there will only be a truck driver and no liftgate to help load. A liftgate can be added on either end for $40, and we can come up with extra help to load or unload if its really necessary. If we have to come out there and pack everything up ourselves, we have to charge another $125 because our offices are located in New York, so we would have to send 2 people out to box and pack everything.- thanks. -taylor (8/17/2005)
Response: Your offer sounds great. We would like you to come finish packing it up properly for us. also, what is your insurance in case there will be damage? We'd like you to do this as soon as possible since we're going back to los Angeles soon. If you do it soon enough we'll be here to load things up. Question: My offer still stands, but I suggest going with stickman- we'd be shipping your stuff freight, its more of a hassle for you and us, and it wouldn't wind up saving you that much money. Stickman is very good. If you do choose to go with us, however, we'll be very happy to help you and it will wind up saving you some money, even alot depending on how much of the work you can do yourselves. Thanks!
