Question: Hello shipper we can offer to transport your boat door to door for you direct freight for $7980.00 We are a boat shipper and the equipment we use to ship boats is only used to ship boats. All boats we ship are covered by insurance and we have not had a claim in over 300 successful shipments. We only use custom built cradles to carry the boats we ship. This puts the weight of the boat along the entire hull as opposed to just a few jack points of contact. We usually ship large yachts and high value boats but also offer small boat shipments. (5/12/2008)

Response: Hi, I'm in no rush to ship. I'm looking for something around $6500. Thanks (5/15/2008)

Response: Can you commit if we get some flexibility on pick up and delivery schedule. If so we can get it done for around $7000.00 (5/15/2008)

Response: Hi,
I am really in no rush so definitely am flexible on the delivery schedule. I'm however looking for $6500 with an insured, trucker with an air ride trailes specifically designed for this type of load. Must have plenty of experience shipping sailboats. Thanks (5/19/2008)

Response: The lowest we can currently do is $6700 (5/19/2008)

Question: sorry most of the freight heads west, did you know this boats beam also requires rear escorts in a few states, eg MI,CA, and they are $1.40 per mile alone? price of fuel is $1.00 a mile now. realistically the truck needs to charge at least $4.00 per mile to cover permits and fuel. Can you tell us how long the mast is? rear overhang is important info too. We carry 40 foot sailboats regularly and this job would be valued at close to 9k even with freight coming back. sorry (6/12/2008)

Response: Ok thank you. (6/18/2008)
