Hi Kathryn, I have two ideas. If you need this done tomorrow I can do it for $200.00. If I can pick it up early Wednesday morning the 8th, and deliver it later that day I can do it for $150.00. Read my feedback, I drive a Mercedes Sprinter Van. It is a very soft ride. I only get 5% of my business from Uship. This is the type of item I have been delivering for 20 years. Response: I am new to Uship so can't figure out how to answer your last post. I don't understand what you mean when you say you have had a complaint about one of your postings. I just wanted to clarify a few things...I am in NYC and the desk is at a store in Baltimore. The person who has the desk has told me that the condition is great and from reading your reviews it sounds like you would handle it well. I just wanted you to know that it had a lot of glass on it. I am not going to scour the desk for scratches as I bought it without asking about scratches; I just don't want glass to break. The only other time I used Uship I had a bad experience which is why your references sound great and are reassuring. If you would still like to do it tomorrow, let me know. If not, I understand. Response: : Okay Kathryn, I understand your concerns. First, I thought I was dealing with the shop owner. Now I understand your questions. My insurance covers the loss of your desk, or catastrophic damage, but not a scratch, it would cover broken glass. I move very expensive furniture, so your item will be wrapped 100% in blankets, and the glass secured as well as it can be. The reason someone complained about my comment I mentioned "a brokerage' company, but I did not name the company so that was OK. I can pick up your desk between 9:30 and 11:00 tomorrow morning for the quoted price of $150.00. You might have to request a bid from me again.
