Questions for this shipment:
Question:
You hyave the hitch assy. with equilizer bars all ready to go? Just hook and pull to new destanation? (6/28/2007)
Response:
Yes. The trailer has trailer brakes as well. Your rig would just need to have the plug receptical. (6/28/2007)
Response:
I am driving a ford 1 ton diesel with a trailer already, is there a wal-mart or somplace local to drop my trailer and is near where yours is? (6/28/2007)
Response:
There is a wal-mart about 2 miles from my house. (6/28/2007)
Response:
I will be back up in the springs are next Thursday or Friday, would these days work? (6/30/2007)
Question:
Also, what is the terrain like on 285? lotta hills, some hills? easy pull? Any extra discriptiion would be nice. (6/28/2007)
Response:
The drive up 285 is very hilly. It is a climb to Kenosha pass which is a pretty high elevation. 285 is a major 2 lane highway and there plenty of semis that drive it so there are no clearence or cornering problems. The trailer has been towed with a 3/4 ton with no problem but I don't have the truck to do it with. I bought the trailer to put on my property permanently and had it dropped at my house for renovation. I have a 1500 Tahoe and don't feel I have enough motor to take it up. (6/28/2007)
Response:
Would it be easier you think to back track a little and go to I-25 then come back to your location on route 24? Not as steep I belive, I am normally not to worried about hills, I pulled my 44' 12,000lb trailer up the highway that runs from Farmington, NM into Salida, Co. which was 11K feet and pulled it fine. Except tranny temps got up alittle and front pump seal blew out. That why I have my truck in the springs area this week being repaired. I fly back into the Springs tommorow to pick it up from the Ford steeler( i mean dealer) so just a little gun shyness on my part.lol... But I should be able to help. let me know what you think about the other way. (6/28/2007)
Response:
Would be looking at moving it late next week or the week after depending on my renovation work. How does that work with your schedule? (6/28/2007)
Response:
I will only be in the area on Saturday, this saturday. I guess that will be to soon for you? (6/28/2007)
Response:
Indeed. I have a full weekend at least to finish the interior work. Sorry this did not work out. (6/28/2007)
Response:
me to, thanks anyway. (6/28/2007)
Question:
Do you have a target price in mind for this transport? Be sure to read our feedback! (6/29/2007)
Response:
I have bids anywhere from $175 to $800. I don't have a target price but want to make sure the group I use has a vehicle in top mechanical shape, at least a 3/4 ton truck and is insured. We are currently refurbishing the trailer for our summer property and do not wish to see it broken down on the side of the road or damaged on the way up. Please provide a bid. Thank you (6/29/2007)
Question:
I have a 2003 1 ton GMC Sierra dually. Would Friday afternoon July 13th work to move trailer? (6/29/2007)
Response:
Yes Friday the 13th (all be it an unlucky day) would work just fine. (6/29/2007)
