Question: What price range are you looking for? I quoted dirt cheap. I know its not possible for one of our trucks to haul it cheaper into that area, but I might be able to put you in touch with someone that has to get up there. The time frame would have to work out when no one else has available freight going that way. (1/17/2009)
Response: Thanks for your reply. Is your quote for both truckloads or just one? I have found a carrier that will do this for me for under $750 a load. (1/17/2009)
Response: My quote is for both truckloads. $750 is a good rate and I couldnt match it. I have to make sure all of my bills are covered and make a little profit. I would have to clear $800 per load to make my needed profit. I can find guys that will haul for $750 and the difference would be the price of the truck and insurance. I have a late model truck So my overhead maybe a little higher the guy quoting $750. (1/17/2009)
Response: My quote is all inclusive for both loads. I have a late model truck and the guy quoting 750 could have a lower overhead and is able to quote out a little lower. I need 800 per load to make my profit level for this lane. I know guys that can run a little lower do to having a older trucks that are paid for. Just not able to do it in my own truck. (1/17/2009)
