Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hello, would all of your goats be able to ride together in one box large stall? Thanks (7/14/2009)
Response: Hi. Yes, the five goats can ride together and it seems to me they would be safer if they don't have too much room to bounce around in. A couple of them tend to stand while riding, though we try to get them to lie down. (7/14/2009)
Response: Ok, thanks we will place a bid if we end up going that way. Amber (7/15/2009)
Response: Thanks for your inquiry! Will watch for your bid... Deirdre (7/15/2009)
Question: Hi, How far off of I-5 is the pick up? I would be able to do the haul for less if we could meet of I-5. I will be headed from Monterey Bay to Ashland, OR on Aug 26th. I have a very nice horse trailer with a completely separate box stall were they could all ride together. Thanks, Leslie (7/29/2009)
Response: Hi. I'm not sure where you get on I-5. We usually take 280, 680, 80, 505 to I-5. Can you go north on I-5 from 152 in Gilroy? If so, it is possible we could meet you near Hwy 101 and Bailey Ave. in South San Jose. That would not put you too far off your route. Where the goats are now, in Cupertino, would require you to go North on 280 toward SF about 15 miles when you get to San Jose and then come back to pick up a route toward Oregon. Hope I haven't confused you. Thanks for your inquiry. Deirdre (7/29/2009)
Response: Hi Deirdre, That doesn't sound too bad if you could met me near Hwy 101. I will have a pretty good sized truck and trailer so if you could recommend a good place to load that would be great (I once off-loaded a poa in a Target parking lot) lol What price range were you looking for? I guarantee you they will have very personalized care and treated as if they were my own pets! You or the receiver can call, email or text me anytime during the haul for an update. Thanks, Leslie (7/29/2009)
Response: Hi Leslie, Sorry it has taken me so long to respond. I needed to check with my husband because he will actually be orchestating the goats' move as I will already be in Oregon after 8/19. It will cost us approx. $70.00 to rent a truck and get the goats near 101. So, would you accept $200.00 if we do that? Otherwise, you could pick up the other $70 if you could go all the way to the ranch to pick them up. The ranch is located at [address removed] in Cupertino, 95014. It is very close to the 280/85 interchange. Let me know what you think... Deirdre (7/30/2009)
Response: No problem, I still have the box stall open. Actually that wouldn't be a problem because I can take Hwy 1 to 17 from Monterey where we will be stopping to see some of our horses we adopted out a few years ago! I will pick up and drop off between Aug 26-27th, depending on how many stops we schedule out to CA! I could do it for $300, door to door (as long as both places have room for me to manuver the truck and trailer), would that work for you? If it does I'll submit a bid and then I can send you my website info so you can see a bit more about us! You can send me your email address and I'll send you a transport contract. Thanks, Leslie (7/30/2009)
Response: Hi Leslie, I think your door to door offer is good. Still waiting on my partner's input before I make it definite. Should know by tomorrow (Fri. 7/31) How long is your truck/trailer? I don't think there is any problem at either end, but it wouldn't hurt to check with the people at the Ashland end just to be sure. Thanks! Deirdre (7/30/2009)
Response: Hi Deirdre, Will that work? If it does I'll go ahead and submit the bid! The trailer is agooseneck about 24' long plus the 4' neck on an extended cab F350. I can also back without any problems! Thanks, Leslie (8/1/2009)
Response: Hi Leslie, Yeah, sounds good. Will the goats be separate from other animals? i.e. not able to touch noses with other animals? That would be best. We look forward to your bid. Thanks! Deirdre (8/1/2009)
Response: Hi Deirdre, Great, I'll submit the bid now. Yes, the goats will be in the front box stall which is completely separated from the horse section with the solid stallion doors. The trailer has a rumber floor, but it will also be bedded with shavings! I'll send you a tranportation contract once you have accepted the bid and uship will let us share information! Thanks, Leslie (8/1/2009)
Question: HI do you still need shipping for your little guys...? check out oour horses and rig,+feedback in our profile....LAURA C CHORSE FARMS (8/6/2009)
Question: Hi Deirdre, Hopefully the place works out 4 you! I still have the box open to bring them up. Please just let me know after you check it out totorrow! Have a great day and I look forward to talking to you soon :) Thanks, Leslie Alder Hill Farm (8/7/2009)
