Questions for this shipment:

Question: Dear Sir Congradulations on winning your auction ( but I sorry to in for you that moving this double wide for 2,000.00 ) would never be possible. Been doing mobile home moveing for some years now and to be honest you are probly looking some where between 3 to 4 dollars a mile to move each half doesnt even in clude prep work plastic ad tires, and permits this is just some advice ot you to help you out (5/5/2008)
Response: make your bid please. it is about 500-600 miles. (5/5/2008)
Question: A double wide must be moved with 2 trucks. The cost of fuel alone for ONE truck to go 2900 miles would be approximately $2000. I hope you didn't bid on this thinking that you could actually get it transported for that amount. We had a mobile home sales business for 17 years, and did all our own transporting from factories, plus we did private moves all over the country. Not even 17 years ago, could you move a double wide 2900 miles for $2000!! When we closed our business in 2002, we were moving single wides within a 50 mile radius for $2000. I'm not trying to be smart, rather just trying to make a point that there are many legal & illegal transporters out there, but even the illegal ones have to at least break even, and that's not even remotely possible for that amount. Do the math...fuel cost around $4000 assuming trucks average 6 mpg & fuel @ $4.25. Even at 10mpg, fuel cost is over $2500. Nothing left for preparation to move(BIG JOB!), profit, expenses, etc!! GOOD LUCK!! (5/6/2008)
Response: it is going to north carolina, 664 miles. i would appreciate a quote if you can do the job. (5/7/2008)
Response: Thanks for asking but we sold our mobile home toters several years ago and have been hauling cars for several years. I was just trying to help you with some information. You may get more responses on your shipment if you'll go into uShip & edit your destination. When people are searching for loads, they only see FL to NV, not NC. Good luck with your shipment. Linda A2Z Transport (5/8/2008)
Question: you really need to check your destination point!!! (5/6/2008)
Response: it is north carolina, 664 miles. can you provide a quote and schedule a move? (5/7/2008)
Question: Not to be smart but a move like this to Reno Nevada would cost over $30,000 with prep work and permits. I wish you luck. (5/6/2008)
Response: it is going to north carolina, 664 miles. i will wait for your quote. thanks (5/7/2008)
Question: Shipper you say 500 or 600 miles. What are you refering to? Is there a mistake in your origin and destination details? Thankyou (5/7/2008)
Response: as stated a couple of times. the origin(pickup location) is riverview, florida and the destination(delivery point) is lexington, north carolina.it is 664 miles from florida to lexington, nc. i will expect your bid if you can do the haul. (5/8/2008)
Response: Thankyou, your still looking at over $2500 per piece if they were road ready, and you have a MAXIMUM price of $2000 , I will not waste your time.Thankyou and good luck. (5/8/2008)
Response: i just received a quote for $4,800, if you can top that, let me know (5/8/2008)
Response: I cannot beat that. Thankyou (5/8/2008)
Question: If it is FL to NV you are needing it moved then my advice (and with this advice and $1.00 you can buy a cup of coffe anywhere in U.S.) why don't you just advertise it locally in FL and see if you can even turn a little profit ( a lemon into lemonade) then look for something MUCH closer to you. I think these other service providers will agree with that. Even though we make a living (at least part of it ) sometimes it just doesn't make $ense. Thanks (5/7/2008)
Response: it is riverview, fl to lexington, nc. it is 664 miles. i will wait for your quote. thanks (5/7/2008)
