Question:

You have a total of four dogs. That is a lot of responsibility and a lot of animal. What is the total you are offering for taking your dogs on this three day, two night trip?Report a Violation
Question:

Like you,I'm new to this site. I have consderable experience transporting dogs, this can be done if what you are offering is fair. Report a Violation
Response: Alt Ostland is German for the "Old East Country" Which is where my dogs originate from. Delta wanted 800 for shipping, which I would have paid, but I think the heat will be prohibitive. I dopn't know where you're located, but I'm in Texas, and my dogs are actually in West Virginia, but the shipper was going to take them to the airport in Columbus, so I figured someone could meet her there and pick up the dogs that way..8/12/2005Report a Violation
Question:

Four dogs would require two people for three days, 24 hours a day. From Columbus to San Antonio, the fuel alone will cost around $360-$400. Motels will cost roughly $120. This site takes 7.9% of the total bid. Which leaves pennies per hour, actually a loss, if you are expecting to have them moved for $800. We can do it, but we have to eat to live, too. Just being honest. You have to realize how much is involved here.Report a Violation
Response: hoped to find someone making the trip anyway, in which case an extra $800 would come in handy for them8/12/2005Report a Violation
Question:

Is there an urgent reason you need it done today?Report a Violation
Response: the shipper wanted it done today.8/12/2005Report a Violation
Question:
8/12/2005
Anyway, I don't think Delta is shipping dogs until the middle of September. Besides, I just looked on my computer, and it's 85 degrees in Columbus at 12:25 AM. So you're right, they couldn't ship even if they shipped during the summer.Report a Violation
Response: Delta and Continental ship year-round. Continental will ship regardless of heat, but will not ship COD. Delta will only ship when ramp temperatures are below 85 degrees8/12/2005Report a Violation
Question:
8/13/2005
No airline in the country will ship an animal in cargo if it's over 85 degrees, it's against the law. Don't know where you heard that. Report a Violation
Response: Continental, oddly enough. I've found a trustworthy driver, for $800, outside this system. Thanks anyway.8/13/2005Report a Violation
Question:
8/13/2005
Where did you find a driver outside of this system? I'm not trying to be nosey, but if there are other sites or avenues available for drivers, I sure would like to know about them so I could use them, too!Report a Violation
Response: A Law Enforcement Associate in the K9 training/certification business. Private contact. Left this morning to go get the dogs.8/13/2005Report a Violation
