Shipment Details: A full gym of a variety of many items from treadmills with fragile electronics to heavy plate loaded workout machines.
Packaging: Shippee will package what is necessary. Shipper will need a means (lift gate or forklift) to get heavy items into enclosed trailer. More items than you can see from the photos.

Dimensions(s):Gym equipment. A variety of sizes. Weight is just a guess, and there are around 30 items.
Total Weight:8000 lbs

Preferred Truck or Trailer:enclosed large trailer with liftgate, or forklift.
Special Permit Required:No

Additional Information: I will be there to meet with the wiining bidder I am sorry to those who bid on this earlier, I wasn't sure if the my purchase was going to go through on the equipment, but now it is a done deal. FYI, there will be a Washington State Ferry fee, around $200. depending on the size of your truck and trailer.

Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hello, if the truck only needs to have a liftgate, will the shipper have a crew to load everything onto the truck? I just want to make sure the driver does not have to do any of the loading himself other than operating the lift gate. Thank you, Jason wth DTS. (1/16/2008)

Response: I (the buyer/shippee) will be there to load and probably hire some help to load, so no, he will not have to do the loading. Does your driver have the means to secure the load? Also, how big is the truck, as this stuff takes up a fair amount of space? (1/16/2008)

Response: The cheapest way would be for us to use a dedicated truck, but finding the big 48' truck with a liftgate can be a little tough. We can insure the freight, but it will probably just have to free-stand inside the truck while in transit. I will call everyone I can to see if someone will help load witha left-gate, knowing that there will be many lift-gate trips up and down, and see if they can provide strapping for the inside of the truck. Question: i have a truck in miami, fl right now a 53 foot dry van no lift gate. we could haul this to you for 5068.50 plus im not sure what the ferry charge will be. Response: A truck will arrive with a 53 ft trailer. You would be respondsible to rent a forklift to load and secure all of the equipment you would want shipped. Once load the driver will take the trailer to the rail yard where the entire trailer would be lifted and put on the rail. Once it arrives to the destination rail yard, The same container would be moved back onto a semi truck and delivered to the final destination. Therefor, you freight would be in the same original trailer the whole time. (1/17/2008)

Response: That is correct. Everything is included except for the following: A fork lift that would need to be rented on both ends for the pick up and delivery. Workers to load and unload onto and off of the trailer at pick-up and delivery. You are also respndsible to package and secure your freight as you see fit. (1/17/2008)
