Questions for this shipment:

Question: HOW LONG TO LOAD? (10/31/2006)
Response: I would guess we should be able to load in 3-4 hours. This is a pickup from a dealership parts department and they have committed staff to help load. Thanks, AWB (10/31/2006)
Question: IS THIS SHIPMENT TIME SENSATIVE? IF NOT WOULD YOU CONSIDER SHIPPING VIA RAIL? IT WOULD PROBABLY TAKE AROUND 2 WEEKS TO DELIVER VIA RAIL. (11/1/2006)
Response: Delivery in 2-3 weeks would be fine. I would consider rail if the price was competitive. I assume you would use an intermodal container so that you don't have to load and unload 4 times? Actually, I'd be very interested if I could rent that container for a month or so after delivery. Thanks, AWB (Civic Duty, LLC) (11/1/2006)
Question: THE BEST RATE I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO COME UP WITH IS $4500.00. I WOULD BE ABLE TO OFFER YOU THE TRAILER DROP AND AND IT WOULD COST 150.00 AND $30.00 PER DAY. I WOULD SUGGEST THAT IF YOU ARE INTERESTED THAT YOU CONSIDER DROPPING THE TRAILER AT THE PICK UP POINT ALSO. EVEN THOUGH IT WOULD COST $150.00 FOR ONE DAY, IT WOULD BE CHEAPER THAN THE DETENTION OF $80.00 PER HOUR OVER 2 HOURS. LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE STILL INTERESTED AND I WILL POST A BID. THANKS, DAVE (11/1/2006)
Response: Thanks, I do have a lower bid but might consider your offer pending further info. The $180./day is not a problem. Questions: 1.) What length trailer are you supplying? 2.) Can you drop the trailer in Portland on 11/6? 3.) Who is your insurance provider and how much basic (no cost) insurance is there in place? Thanks, AWB, Civic Duty, LLC (11/1/2006)
Question: IN ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTIONS: LENGTH OF THE TRAILER WOULD BE 53'. AS A BROKER MY CARRIER HAS INSURANCE AND SO DO I, SO YOUR CARGO IS COVERED UP TO $100,000.00. I COULD DROP A TRAILER ON 11/6 IN OREGON, I WOULD NEED TO KNOW FOR SURE BY FRIDAY 11/3/06 BY NOON. IF WE PICKED UP THE TRAILER THE NEXT DAY THERE WOULD ONLY BE THE $150.00 DROP FEE FOR THE PICK UP. I THINK YOU MISUNDERSTOOD THE COST TO RENT THE TRAILER FOR 3-4 WEEKS ALSO. THERE WOULD BE A $150.00 DROP FEE AND THEN IT WOULD BE $30.00 PER DAY AFTER THAT, NOT $180.00 PER DAY. AS FAR AS PAYMENT, I WOULD NEED TO RUN YOUR COMPANY CREDIT AND WE WOULD EITHER GIVE YOU CREDIT OR NEED PAYMENT VIA CREDIT CARD UPON DELIVERY. WHAT I WOULD DO IS BILL YOU FOR THE SHIPPING CHARGES UPON DELIVERY AND THEN WE WOULD DO A SEPERATE BILLING FOR THE RENTAL CHARGES SO THAT WE CAN BE ACCURATE. THE BID ON USHIP WOULD BE FOR THE PICK UP AND DELIVERY ONLY, IT WOULD NOT INCLUDE RENTAL TIME. IF YOU NEED ANYTHING ELSE PLEASE LET ME KNOW. THANKS, DAVE (11/2/2006)
Response: Well, I went with a lower bidder who just is incapable of doing the job. Very frustrating. If you can pick up this load I would be interested. There are two full truck loads and if I contracted with you for both, could you beat the $4500./load price? Thanks, Alister Civic Duty (11/13/2006)
Question: Hello, I'm a Broker/Agent for one of the largest Carriers in N0. Amercia. We would have $100,000.00 Ins. I will have my Corp. fax you all paper and INS. I would need couple hrs. lead time for credit check. If all is fine then we bill you. Also would a 53' Van. And if you want to have a trailer dropped off for a couple of weeks, then that would be $150.00 a day. And if I just have a driver wait to be loaded then it would be $60.00hr. anything over 1hr. at each end to load and unload. Any more question just let me know. Thanks Gene (11/2/2006)
Response: I will take your bid at $3800. plus $300. to drop the trailer for a day at each location. I would need the trailer at Honda of St. Johns (Portland, OR)during the day, Thursday 11/9/06. If that sounds good, I will take the bid and confirm a fax number. Thanks, Alister (Civic Duty, LLC) (11/2/2006)
Question: Alister, I plaese to take your offer. I will need Name of CO. & address, phone #, Fax #, pickup address, drop off address. I'll then fax you all paper work from Corp. And they'll run a credit check. And the I'll truck they on 11/9/2006 Thank You Gene McCoy (11/2/2006)
