Question: do your motors run and is she had a survey done? the trip is short if done by water only 2 days. Licensed capt and crew Capt Chaney can bid and keep you in your target range $ (4/6/2009)
Response: yes the motors are 427's and they run fine. Well off and on when they get fuel. She started having problems at the tail end of her trip from north Alabama down to Mobile so she had several good days of running. The capt who took her down blew out the lines and we changed the fuel filters. Only one engine is giving us problems now and it went out quick and has not started so it may be a fuel pump issue from what I'm told. I'm sure nothing too big but it's less hassle movign her 128miles over the road than giving a capt two days of fits offshore if the motors start to act up. Thanks for the advice, I never turn down good advice (4/7/2009)
Question: I wish you luck and some unsolisited areas to check in the fuel system. trouble shoting won't take long. disconnect the fuel line from the filter use and air source blow toward the tank check the filter or replace it dip the fuel tanks check for any sign of contaminant or google nautical services capt chaney (4/6/2009)
Question: It's 15 feet tall, is that with the top canopy and it removable? (4/19/2009)
Response: Hi, it's about 15' tall but with the flybridge removed it brings it down to about 12ft. I plan on removing the flybridge if I have it moved over the road. If I get someone to tow it over the water then I'll leave it up. Thanks for the question. The move date has been pushed back more into may so I'm pretty flexable as far as dates..thanks (4/21/2009)
