Question: Hi and thank you for requesting our bid. We would be able to get this big guy around 11/8-10 but would need to do a direct run with him. We've had alot of experience traveling with this breed and have learned the best method of transport is making the trip as short as possible. Response: Understand, if you could wait until a day or two after Thanksgiving we could lower the price as we would not have to backtrack. But to be honest, don't think you will find a transporter for under $200. Especially with this breed. We would transport for $395, door to door, all inclusive but would need to let me know right away if you could swing that and if the timeframe would work so that I make sure and keep a crate open. We very seldom do have any extra space due to our high demand for services by our other customer base and only offer on this venue when we are within a week or 10 days from a scheduled trip. Response: Are you the one sending the dog or getting the dog?? Didn't realize any airlines was flying this breed. Even if they were, isn't your time on both shipping and receiving ends getting to and from the airport, plus the price of an X-large Vari-kennel required to ship him worth $50. By the time I get assessed all my fees I will actually be getting less the $300 on a $350 bid. My normal rate for a dog of this size traveling under 1K miles is $825 and I am willing to take the loss simply because I am familiar with this breed and know what can happen if they are placed in the wrong hands. You may get bids lower but those that do bid on this order for less have no clue of the breed and what could happen. at 11 months this boy is not a "puppy" and in the wrong hands there could be major problems. Response: I actually have a kennel for him if needed, and I am the one sending him to his owner. i am a single mother, and actually bought this dog a few months ago, but he is not good with my kids, so I am sending him back to the person I bought him from. Best not take the chance of any problems in the future which could be serious so I admire you for taking action now. Is the person you sending him back to his breeder?
