Response: Trucker guy, A bid would be great. The chaise is valued at 17,640.00 so would need to be blanket wrapped, handled with care. (I do have insurance).Also, it needs to be picked up from the 2nd floor of a building (with very wide halls/stairs/doors) and loaded. Then in NYC it needs to be loaded into the service elevator and taken to the 5th floor. It is definitely at least a 2 man job. Response: If you leave Roanoke at 5:00ish, that puts you in Leesburg 8:00/9:00 pm? I could make it work (it is not my residence, so I would have to get a key etc. I want to make sure you would bring the chaise down from the 2nd floor (very wide stairs,hall,doors) and then in NYC the piece has to be loaded into the service elevator and up to the 5th floor of an office bldg. Delivery location is only open M-F 9:00-5:00 and no one available to help unload. You will need 2 people to load. Is it still something you can do? (10/17/2006)
