Response: Hello, One method is to roll the aircraft onto the trailer, front first, so that the frong wheel is at the front of the trailer, then put the wings on the floor of the trailer, but lots of padding and the second wing on top of that. I will go to hangar tomorrow to measure track, not sure if it is over 8 feet. The seller will assist, he has moved planes before, but he is not capable of much physical grunt. That's a long way from El Cajon, do you have another load going to WA? Do you know the size of the car trailers? Thanks skip (11/7/2005)

Response: Hello, do you do this often? This is my first time on something like this, the seller has agreed to "oversee" the loading, but he is no physically able to participate. He is leaving for a month next week, would you plan to to go WA first or GA first? Response: Hello, I just got the title issues cleared, are you still interested in the disassembled single engine Cessna haul from Seattle (Sequim) to Daytona Beach (actually New Smyrna, about 15 miles south) Florida? If so, please describe what you have available for hauling. I have been cautioned that either it must be an airride unit or have very careful padding, it is aluminum of course, I am not worried about the paint but do worry about dings. I am only paying 8k for the project, but I still want to be careful. I would like to buy insurance. I know it is wet out there, the seller is on a paved road and says no problem getting a truck to the property, but it is soggy ground to the barn. Seller will cooperate in getting it to paved road, and (on notice) can line up some help to load. It is a 4 seat single engine Cessna same size as 172 Skyhawk, 2 main wings, tail wings, fuselage, cowling, and some small parts. No engine, instruments, radios, battery.
