Questions for this shipment:

Question: can this be shipped within the next day or two ? (11/7/2005)
Response: It would be a push, but possible. Aircraft is disassembled in a shop. What do you have in mind? (11/7/2005)
Question: i just delivered a 30' cargo trailer to El cajon, Ca. therefore, i am without my 40' flat bed. tomorrow morning i'll be heading back to Lake Charles, La but if we can workout something with your airplane i'll pick it up & deliver 4/u. What i was thinking,is it possible to transport it on a u-haul auto trailer ? (11/7/2005)
Response: Hello, One method is to roll the aircraft onto the trailer, front first, so that the frong wheel is at the front of the trailer, then put the wings on the floor of the trailer, but lots of padding and the second wing on top of that. I will go to hangar tomorrow to measure track, not sure if it is over 8 feet. The seller will assist, he has moved planes before, but he is not capable of much physical grunt. That's a long way from El Cajon, do you have another load going to WA? Do you know the size of the car trailers? Thanks skip (11/7/2005)
Question: i checked with u-haul & largest open trailer they have is 6'W X 12'L. do u think this is long enough ? yes, if we worked something out i've a car to transport up there from LA, it will help cover gas. need to hear from u asap, i head back southeast today at 11:00am. (11/8/2005)
Response: No, not big enough. I will be out for 5 hours, Skip (11/8/2005)
Question: Hello, I will be going to GA. The later part of November to Haul a aircraft back to CA. I could haul your Cesna for you an my way there. I do not know the exact date of pick up yet as the shipper does not know where he is going to store his plane yet. If $2500.00 is an acceptable fee for your transport,,then I would be happy to work out the dates of pick up and delivery for you as soon as I know what my other shipper is doing. Let me know,,,thanks,,Bob (11/10/2005)
Response: Hello, do you do this often? This is my first time on something like this, the seller has agreed to "oversee" the loading, but he is no physically able to participate. He is leaving for a month next week, would you plan to to go WA first or GA first? What are you using to haul (trailer, flatbed, etc.) It would be a real push (maybe not possible)to do it before he leaves. Thanks, Skip (11/10/2005)
Question: Hi, this is keith with mJ Transport, I am working on a load right now to Blaine, Wa. and I have a 48' trailer, I could haul this back to Fl for you for 2000.00, if this is acceptable let me know, and I will place a bid (11/10/2005)
Response: Hello, what is your time frame for getting to Washington? My seller has to leave around Nov 15 for a month? I will emai him and ask how firm that date is for him. Thanks, Skip (11/10/2005)
Question: I have a delivery to Shelton early next week, I could rent a car hauler from uhaul to do this would next wenddsay be alright I am fully DOT certifired insured if this would work let me know in this section and I will submit a bid. Within the next 24 hours otherwise if it doesnt fit that timeframe I cant do it. Thank you (11/10/2005)
Response: Seller wants to wait until he returns in mid deember, will have a flexible window after that, I apologize for any inconvenience, I will modify my post. thanks skip (11/10/2005)
Question: I'm hoping to leave this weekend if I get the load goling up, so I would be there by the 15th if I leave here Friday night, I'm in Florida (11/10/2005)
Response: Hello, Seller is leaving on 15th but there will be somebody there to grant access. I am waiting on final confirmation of deal with seller before I commit to you. When do you think you would be in WA. Are you familiar with small planes? The seller won't be able to help load and there is no loading dock, I have picked up ech piece with 2 helpers on the fuselage. How does this fit in your ideas? Skip (11/10/2005)
Question: thanks, and I'll keep you posted as soon as I know about the load going out there- (11/10/2005)
Response: Keep me in mind if you get a load to Seattle after mid December. Thanks, Skip (11/10/2005)
Question: Hello,,,,Bob here again. I would go to WA. first and take your plane back east. I would be hauling the plane on a 25 ft x 8ft flat bed,,,trailer. Dont worry about the seller needing to be there to help load. I am sure I could get it loaded just fine. Bob (11/11/2005)
Response: HI, Seller has asked that I wait until he returns mid december, I apologize for any inconvenience, I will change my post, if you get anything later please contact. Thanks Skip (11/11/2005)
Question: Hi, it wont be a problem loading it, I'm waiting for confirmation on the load going up right now, I should know something within the next hour or so, as far as airplanes, it should be alot easier than some of the things I've hauled, lol, we have cargo insurance also, so it will be covered. Keith (11/11/2005)
Response: Hello, I just got the title issues cleared, are you still interested in the disassembled single engine Cessna haul from Seattle (Sequim) to Daytona Beach (actually New Smyrna, about 15 miles south) Florida? If so, please describe what you have available for hauling. I have been cautioned that either it must be an airride unit or have very careful padding, it is aluminum of course, I am not worried about the paint but do worry about dings. I am only paying 8k for the project, but I still want to be careful. I would like to buy insurance. I know it is wet out there, the seller is on a paved road and says no problem getting a truck to the property, but it is soggy ground to the barn. Seller will cooperate in getting it to paved road, and (on notice) can line up some help to load. It is a 4 seat single engine Cessna same size as 172 Skyhawk, 2 main wings, tail wings, fuselage, cowling, and some small parts. No engine, instruments, radios, battery. Anyway, its time for me t (11/11/2005)
Question: Hi Skip, Keith here again, I've got a load I can take to Washington on the 28th of this month, that would put me up there on the 1st or 2nd of Dec. if that will work let me know, thanks (11/14/2005)
Response: Seller is on way to Japan to sail his boat, he won't be back until mid-December, plane is stuck in his shop until he returns, he will let me know when his return air is exact, I will post then. Thanks, Skip (11/14/2005)
Question: Can provide airride tractor trailer unit to transport airplane, is the 19th or 20th too early? Do you have an update yet? (12/12/2005)
Response: Those days work, how much do you want $, licensed/insured?, are you familiar with small Cessna's, we would need to hurry to make this work by the 20th, etc. thanks Skip (12/12/2005)
Question: Licensed and insured. Will get back to you shortly with bid. We are still on schedule and feel sure we can handle this for you. (12/15/2005)
Question: Yes we do have good authority, and coverage of 100,000 cargo. Our driver has experience with hauling military jets so doubt this is very much different. We would like to get $1.00 per mile less commission leaves us with $.92 cents per mile. Where are you at on money, lets see if we are even in the ball park. Yacht Details LLC (12/15/2005)
Response: I had some "emergencies" the past week, where are you on this now, I am 15 miles south of Daytona Beach, about 3300 miles total I think. skip (12/15/2005)
Question: If this is available, I have a 22ft air ride box truck & could pick up late on the 22nd or on the 23rd & deliver on the 28th. I am a DOT licensed & insured motor carrier. (12/20/2005)
Response: How much do you want? Its possible to do this on 23rd or 24th. I will check email ever few hours. Skip (12/20/2005)
