Question: Is the boat at Shumways or Voyager and when are you looking to ship to MD? Thanks. Allison-Lockview Marina. (9/9/2009)

Response: Planning to bring the boat to Rochester and am flexible on the marina to haul out at. Which one do you recommend and is it the least expensive? (9/9/2009)

Response: I don't know about their prices you will have to call and find out.
I will give you a bid for shipping. What kind of time frame are you looking at? Thanks. Allison-Lockview Marina. (9/9/2009)

Response: Ok I will call and see if they can haul the boat out next week. I need to sail the boat across the lake to Rochester for a haul out in Rochester. Can I ride in the cab with the boat to the Chesapeake? It would be the most convenient way for me to get to the Chesapeake too. (9/11/2009)

Response: Unfortunately my insurance does not allow us to take passangers. Sorry. (9/11/2009)

Response: OK thats fine by me. I can rent a car. Can you carry the boat later this week or next week from Rochester. Lets say September 21st leaving Rochester? (9/12/2009)

Response: Yes. If you want to go forward just accept the bid and then we can speak personally. Thanks. Allison-Lockview Marina. (9/12/2009)

Question: While price is important, there are other considerations before choosing a carrier. Insurance: We have $1.25 million in all risk cargo coverage. Safety: Check our Federal DOT safety rating by clicking on our DOT number. Our safety rating is much better than the national average. Experience: Our second-generation company has been in business for 55 years, hauling nothing but boats from coast to coast, in Canada, and to all ports in the US. We have hauled for nearly every major boat manufacturer in the US, both power and sail, we are a major carrier for the New York and Miami Boat Shows, and we are an authorized carrier for the US military. Equipment: We have 50 trucks/200 trailers. Drivers: Our drivers meet all Federal DOT qualification standards and have extensive boat hauling experience. All of these factors are very important when it comes to moving your boat. (9/12/2009)
