Additional Information: To ship a 26' Carver cruiser from New Bern, N.C. to Colton Point Marina, Md. sometiome in November 2006. Will be purchasing boat from previous owner. Boat will be taken to marina in New Bern to be hauled and placed on transport at arranged time. Marina address not known yet. Address of owner is given instead (but close to marina). Have gotten a 28' Carver Mariner hauled from Charleston, W.V. to Chesapeake Bay four years ago so know what to expect. Looking for estimates from haulers. Thanks
Update 11/22/06- Am awaiting survey report of boat by Monday after Thanksgiving to determine to purchase or not. Will make a decision shortly thereafter. Thanks. Report a Violation

Questions for this shipment: 

Question: Hello, do you have a trailer? (10/19/2006)
Response: We are going to New Bern on 10/28 to determine whether we will purchase this boat and have it surveyed, conclude the purchase and have it hauled. Although the boat is technically trailerable I am unaware that the present owner has a trailer for it. I would quess not. Our previous boat was a Carver 28' Mariner and it wasn't really "trailerable". This owner never mentioned a trailer nor was it mentioned in his ad. (10/19/2006)

Response: Thanks! Unfortunately, we are awaiting the surveyors report on the boat an have not yet ironed out the deal. We don't know exactly what will transpire until we get the reort, probably later this week. (11/26/2006)
