Question: when do you need this done (7/5/2008)

Response: I don't have the specific date set yet, but 08/08/08-08/12/08 if all goes according to plan. (7/5/2008)

Response: is there a price range you want to stay in so i could bid and are you looking getting it booked know for those dates or waiting closer (7/6/2008)

Response: Please see my response to the bidder below. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask. (7/6/2008)

Response: is towing an option (7/6/2008)

Response: Oh, absolutely. The trailer is brand new, good wiring, good tires, etc. (7/6/2008)

Response: o.k will put in bid and if you accept and need to change dates when it get closer we are flexible with that (7/6/2008)

Response: Please refer to the questions I sent via the bid proposal page. (7/6/2008)

Question: We may be able to haul this on our trailer to you, just wondering with the milage and price of fuel theese days what you had in mind to pay.Thanks,Cal-Ok Transportation. (7/6/2008)

Response: Well, I've already done the math for me to get out there to Houston from Sacramento and back in three and a half days and it's going to cost me 1900 in fuel plus my time and a driver's time. I assume if you're putting it on a trailer you have a load here in CA to take back, and I'm really flexible on the delivery date if someone else is doing the transport... You are the professional, so tell me what you think. (7/6/2008)

Response: Thanks for your response.Well,I could pickup anytime as I live in oklahoma and go to Houston Tx once a week.As far as price, the going rate to haul aka transport trailers is $1.10 to $1.50,dont let anyone give you a quote of $2,000 or more there crazy.Yes fuel is hi,but that doesnt mene rape the customer. To ship your trailer should cost no more than $1,500 being its a small trailer.Be more if it were a enclosed car trailer etc.I still have a home in Bakersfield and make the run often, let me know.Ps,whoever you get to haul this for you make sure they have a legal Dot and Mc number and the proper insurance, thanks Ed Cal-Ok Transportation. (7/6/2008)

Response: Thanks Ed, I appreciate the time you took to lay it out for me. If you make a frequent run to Bakersfield, I could make arrangements to pick it up from you there, I need to do a day-long haul with my tow rig once I've got the kinks worked out anyways. If you'd like to bid based off this information, or need more details, please feel free to get back in touch. (7/6/2008)

Response: Well,ok if you want I can pick up your trailer asap. But I need to run by my oklahoma house before I head out.I can give you a cheaper rate if you allow me to take it to my Bakersfield house. That rate would be $1,250 or $1,000 if you paid up front.Basically just be helping you help me for fuel, thanks Ed Cal-Ok Transportation. (7/6/2008)

Response: There's no asap here, Ed. The trailer is sitting in my backyard at the moment, but it's making a one-way trip to Houston with a friend on or around the first of August. Once it's empty, it needs to find its way back somehow. No rush, no asap, no deadlines. It mayn't be able to stay in Houston very long, but I'm sure I can figure something out if it needs to sit awhile to fit into someones schedule. (7/6/2008)

Response: Well, when its out in texas give me a shout. You can find me on here,[circumvention of site]hope to save you some coin.Cal-Ok Transportation. (7/6/2008)

Response: All right, will do, thanks for your help Ed. (7/6/2008)

Question: My equipment is designed for transporting trailers. 51' wedge with center rail, and winch. (Picture in Profile) I operate 2 trucks, and transport trailers for Pace, WW, CM, Forest River, Haulmark, Miley, and Exiss to name a few. References available upon request. DOT authority and insurance documentation available upon request. 100K Cargo Insurance at no additional cost. Fuel is the driver of price, ($4.92 this morning in Bakersfield) and with a pickup date a month from now, it's difficult to lock in a firm price until closer to pickup date. However, I can give you a "Not to Exceed" amount of $2,450. If fuel prices start to decline, then will adjust price accordingly. Thanks, and good luck with your shipment. (7/6/2008)

Response: Thank you RDavis1, you should be the example that Uship service providers are held to. Professional, concise, with all the details laid out. I will be in touch with you as the pick-up date approaches. (7/6/2008)

Question: Hello windinhair here would like to know your time frame?also to let you know that I am a M/C[motorcarrier]with a US-DOT# I carry 750k in liabilty and 100k in cargo insurance and have been a OTR driver off and on for about 21yrs now,I go to Auburn Ca 1 or 2 times a month to pick up a 7x12 [bumper pull]to Edinbirg Tx,for a freight forwarding co. and would be happy to get to you your new trailer, please read my feed back,I also pull from Central Dispatch, with 100% rating there as well,I am based[live]5 hrs north of Houston, and Im down there all the time,I have all ball sizes, and all kinds of light hook ups, would like to know if your trailer has a spare?will be droping off in Edinburg 7/11,12/08 could pick up then and bging it to you 7/14/08[startdate]I will place a bid,so please let me know if I my be of service to you.Thank you[windinhair] (7/6/2008)

Response: Hi windinhair! My trailer isn't even in Texas yet, it'll make the move around the first of August. Unfortunately the power taking it there won't be making its way back to California for several years. I can't wait quite that long to get my trailer back. I'm in no rush however, and if you are already heading into Auburn, I can meet with you there so you don't have to come all the way down the hill. Let me know if you are still interested. Thanks! (7/6/2008)

Response: On my my back to Tx now (7/24/2008)

Response: If you would like to rebid, given the activity that has happened since your last bid and the change in terms I've made, please feel free to do so. (7/24/2008)

Question: Do you still need this move ?? (7/14/2008)

Response: I certainly do. Thanks for asking. (7/14/2008)

Response: Well 1750 would be about where I would need to be with gas as it is, sorry, but if it works for you we can forge ahead at your will and make preliminary pick up dates, "lets put this baby to bed" but keep an eye on the fires !! I got stranded in So Cal last year for three days waiting to get to a clients house. (7/14/2008)

Response: Give me a couple of days to mull this one over, if I can find a way to split the cost by filling up the trailer, or expense it out some other creative way your bid looks very attractive. (7/14/2008)

Response: I will be waiting to hear from you, have a nice day. (7/14/2008)

Question: what would be the earliest date for pick up? Thanks, roger at swift transport (7/15/2008)

Response: August 8th, 2008. Octavo Augusto, 2008. Or, 08/08/08. Sorry, just covering my bases, this question has come up several times despite the dates listed in the shipping request. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask. (7/15/2008)

Response: very clear. sometimes dates do change and it is always good to ask for planning purposes. thanks. (7/15/2008)

Response: Not a problem. (7/15/2008)

Question: Just wanted to say we havent forgot about you,if you still need this shipped, let me know might be able to give you a lower price, than we talked about.Ed Cal-Ok Transportation. (7/23/2008)

Response: I do still want this shipped, thanks for asking! Tell me what you were thinking on price, thanks Ed. (7/23/2008)

Response: We can tow this for $850,thats going to Bakersfield,ca like we talked about before.Perhaps $600 if you let me use it to move some of grandmothers boxes in it to cali, thanks Ed, Cal-Ok Transportation. (7/23/2008)

Response: I still don't have all the details, such as the date the trailer will be ready for pickup, finalized. I should know within the next week. If you are still flexible within the listed timeframe 8/8/08-08/12/08 or thereabouts, go ahead and put yer bid in. I'll likely be there at the pickup location when you arrive and will likely fly out to California and meet you in Bakersfield with my tow vehicle, if that's amenable. We can work out details in the bid and subsequent phone calls. I look forward to talking with another California Okie, not too many of us left anymore. (7/23/2008)

Response: No big hurry,I will place a bid on the day you can accept and we can chat on the phone.Need to see if you would be against me hauling a atv or two in it,thanks Ed Cal-Ok Transportation. (8/1/2008)

Response: Okie dokie, I don't know what my internet availability will be once I'm in Houston, but I'll be in touch with you either way. (8/1/2008)

Response: Well if its anything like mine at&t its going to be awfull.l wish a fellow carrier on here could tell me who they use for wireless, mine only works if im parked.Ed (8/1/2008)

Response: I just switched to Verizon, I'll let you know how it works. T-mobile didn't always work for me except in Europe, go figure. (8/3/2008)

Question: Could you please let me know what you are looking to pay for this transport? Thank you. (7/23/2008)

Response: I can do the round trip myself for $1600, so if I can't find someone to do it for roughly half that, I'm not interested. (7/24/2008)

Response: I could do this transport for $975.00. Thank you. (7/24/2008)

Response: How much advance notice would you need prior to pickup? (7/24/2008)

Response: It would be good to know ASAP as I would like to book this run. Thank you. (7/24/2008)

Response: At this time, I can't get any more specific with the pickup dates other than the date range I have already provided. I will know more as 08/08/08 approaches, since I can't account for delays in travel time. (7/24/2008)

Question: do u still need this done??
thanks (7/24/2008)

Response: I certainly do. (7/24/2008)

Response: whats ure max price? (7/24/2008)

Response: I don't want to come across as a jerk, but all the information on this bid is current. A lot of questions can be answered by reading the previous responses I have made. I really don't see the need to continually repeat myself. If, after reviewing the bid, you have any additional questions that can't be answered with the information that is present, please feel free to ask. (7/24/2008)

Response: well i am sorry but the reason i asked was that there was a guy that bid under ure max price and u said it was too expensive. hence the reason i asked. i could do it for $1200.00 (7/24/2008)

Response: Understandable. Thank you for your time. (7/24/2008)

Response: good luck and god bless!! (7/24/2008)

Question: Hey thanks for remembering us and asking for bid request.Ok like I promised I attend to give you the best rate I can.Question,to give you a awesome rate would you allow me to place items in the trailer, motorcycles, atvs, etc. This would help offset your price, and do you want it all the way to Sac,or is Bakersfield still fine. Thanks Ed Cal-Ok Transportation. (7/31/2008)

Response: I encourage use of the trailer! Use it to the best of your ability and take the time you need to make it worth your while. I would like to see your price to bring it all the way to Sacramento, I just popped a hose on the A/C on my tow rig, so for me to make the trip to Bakersfield would be a little unpleasant, lol. I'll be headed to Houston starting Monday morning and plan to be there and unloaded by the evening of the 8th. I just found out there will be no parking at the apartment complex (it has a parking garage that's too short for the trailer) but I will find a location it can be kept until pickup. When I get that address, I'll give you a call. (8/1/2008)

Response: Hey there guy,man thats a bummer no ac,I would quit if I had no ac,this fat donkey needs his ac,lol.Well I told you $850,to Bako,so just to cover the fuel diff, how about $1,000 maybe less depends on how many motorcycles or atvs you think would fit in it,and does it have tie downs. We will get it all worked out,let me know if that price will work and I will place a bid,we can adjust price if need be later, thanks Ed,Cal-Ok Transportation. (8/1/2008)

Response: If you have dollies for the atv's, I'm pretty sure you could get three, maybe four into the trailer. There are two tie-downs up front and two in the rear, not really ideal for motorcycles, but I've hauled more with less, lol. If you had wheel chocks for the motorcycles you could easily fit six crotch rockets... You'll see when you get it, you are the pro! I loooove your earlier quote of 600 to Bakersfield hauling grandma's stuff, but I'll concede my need for A/C changes everything, lol. I've got your number, I'll give you a call when I'm in Houston, have access to a computer again, and after I've accepted your bid. (8/3/2008)

Response: No problem.Like I said,I can place a bid and we can play with the numbers after I transport it,im a honest guy, I will show you what I hauleed and what I made, and what fuel was and we will work it out.Good luck on the trip, look forward to talking to you very soon.Ed Cal-Ok Transportation. (8/4/2008)

Response: okie doke, I'm in Houston, trailer is ready to go. Place your bid at your leisure! (8/9/2008)

Response: Glad to see you made it.What luck I have on timeing, lol im on a load in wyoming, will be dropping 8-10-08 then got to make some calls to see where im going next.I hope to be coming to texas or okie town.I promise you I am trying my best to get to your trailer, heck if this was in oklahoma I would have a local hauler friend go grab it and take it to my yard, that might still be a option ?? Talk soon,Ed,Cal-Ok Transportation. (8/10/2008)

Response: No rush, it appears that I've found a place to let it sit until ready for pickup. These Texans are pretty good about putting signs up letting you know if parking (and turning right, messing with Texas, being unfriendly) is illegal in a particular spot, so I think I'm good to go for awhile. I'll extend the bidding duration. (8/10/2008)

Question: Will be comimg thru Houston 8/11/08,will be heading to Albrun Ca on or about 8/13/08,if this will work for you please let me know.Thank you[windinhair] (8/10/2008)

Response: I'd love to, but the timing isn't quite right. (8/10/2008)

Response: when do you need this picked up?[windinhair] (8/11/2008)

Response: pretty much whenever... no rush anymore. I found a spot to park it. (8/11/2008)

Response: I am based[live] about 5 hrs north of Houston, would like to maybe pick up this Friday 8/15/08,bring back to my home and leave Monday morning 8/18/08 and delivery would be in 2-3 days, jusy came back from Greenville and Alburn,so please let me know if this will work for you, also I am a M/C[motorcarrier]and have a US-DOT# with 750k in liabilty and 100k in cargo insurance.Thank you[windinhair] (8/12/2008)
