Hello, can you have these items crated or secured to a pallet prior to shipping? You can get a pallet for free from most local business, and then use straps or wrap to secure the item down. Our carriers will not ship loose items and we do not offer packaging services. Thank you, Fritz with miLogistics, NC.

Response: I have a pallet but that usually makes the rate jump too high because of the volume it takes up. You can quote it if you like though. Pallet would be 40" x 68" x 69" tall
Thanks

Don here from Bicentennial Transport right up in Goffstown NH. We have a custom enclosed tractor trailer designed to transoprt cars, but I'm sure I can fit your hood in. If your seller would bring it to our truck which is in Scottsdale at the antique car auctions now, and if you wanted to pick it up in Goffstown (near Manchester) I think I can hit your target price. Is it ready to ship today or tomorrow? Let me know, and feel free to respond to discuss further. Thanks. Don Descoteaux - 76Transport

Response: I have contacted the buyer to see if this works for him. Can we put $500 of insurance on it and if so, how much?

Response: : Saad: Insurance will be included with my quote. We often ship steel hoods and fenders, etc., by blanket wrapping them and strapping them to the inside wall of our trailer. If its in a box, and then wrapped and strapped, I feel confident it will be safe. Also, it will stay in place the whole trip, verses general freight carriers who typically have to transfer it from truck to truck along the way. I'll wait to hear if the seller can accomodate us. Thanks. Don - 76Transport

Response: What is our price on the shipment?
1/22/2012
Response: : The total would be $175. We will have to make a decision this morning please, and if its a go, let me know so I can get my bid placed immediately. Please note that the balance, after the uship deposit, would be due at time of delivery in cash please. Also, I'll document in my bid, assuming we move forward, that p/u and delivery will be accomodated by both the shipper and yourself. Let me know, and thank you. Don - 76Transport

Response: My target price was $150. If you can do it for that, we have a deal
1/22/2012
Response: : I understand. That is only $150 to me, the balance is the uship booking fee. Let me know if you'd like to proceed or not, as we are loading the truck in Scottsdale as I write . Thanks. Don - 76Transport
