Response: Hi Richie, The filly needs to be at the Canadian border in Derby Vermont on the 17th or 20th of April. I will require 1 month to get all of her paperwork together in order for her to cross the border in Canada. Her new owner will be picking her up in Derby Line and taking her over the border. I hope this answers your question. This is the forst time I have shipped a horse to Canada and with the paraplasmosis outbreak, that was months ago, the Canadian government is being very strict about horses brought in from Florida. The test that they do for Paraplasmosis is an ELISA test and it has to be no older than 3 weeks when they cross the border. Let me know if this sounds possible for you. Thanks, Julie (2/15/2009)
