Questions for this shipment:

Question: what is your target price ?? (4/10/2008)
Response: Have had no bids yet so can't really answer. Suggest you contact me again in a couple of days to see what's come in. (4/10/2008)
Question: I can p/up and del on sat or sun. I put my bid in already (4/11/2008)
Response: Any Sat or Sun or just this weekend? (4/11/2008)
Response: I can p/up and del any sat or sunday. Dannelli (4/12/2008)
Question: Hello, and thanks for your request. I'm actually going to Vermont on the 15th, but I unfortunately don't have space available for this beautiful machine. Regretably, I'll have to decline. Kindest regards, Greyhound. (4/11/2008)
Response: Sorry too. (4/11/2008)
Response: Actually, I will be returning home to eastern Long Island after my New England run. My trailer would be empty at that point. I'll be home for a couple of days and could do a turn around and take this up on a dedicated shipment (as opposed to a route job, which I normally run). Just so we are clear, if I were to do this as a dedicated run, it would be the only thing on my schedule going up, which means I'd probably be dead-heading back. Which in turn means that I'd have to charge a dedicated run rate. The bid would be for somewhere around $650.00. I can load it on Thursday, April 17th, with same day delivery. I would truly like to do it for less, but that's my rate for a dedicated job. I am fully licensed and insured, with full coverage cargo liability insurance. I will provide proof of licensing and insurance upon your request if I bid and you accept and we have direct contact. Please let me know if you want my bid under those terms. Kindest regards, Greyhound. (Kelly Freight Services) (4/12/2008)
Response: Yes I would like to receive a bid from you as your positive response rating is so good and you have more responses than most. (4/12/2008)
Question: Hi sir, I will be able to be very competitive on abid and will be able to do for you early next week at your convenience. I'm hoping and assuming one or other of the following will be possible: 1. The spyder will be palletized/crated and able to be lifted into a 16' box truck by a fork lift? 2. It can be ridden/driven up the ramps into the truck? I'll submit a bid based on your response. Thanks alastair (ahudson) (4/11/2008)
Response: I have to take delivery and they offer a familiarization ride, which I'd like to do, so I believe it will not be palletized again (I will check). Is your ramp a solid full-width ramp or is it two single tracks - this bike needs three track ramps and a full width ramp is much preferred. (4/11/2008)
Response: Ubderstood. A trailer with 'drive in capabilities' may work best for you in this instance. my bos truck has a single 24" wide ramp, meaning the other two ramps would be 2" x 12" wooden ramps.......a challenging test for you after your familiarization run!!!! If you are able to are-palletize, I could beat your current bids by a significant margin, but then again, I guess, you need to have a fork lift to unload in VT?! Your call. regards alastair (4/12/2008)
Question: Hi Bill.D (cm3cando) here, to help in your decision, please take a look at some of my pics. I will be using the black trailer, it has two fully adjustable ramps that can be used for the front tires. For the rear tire I will use a good strong plank. This will alow your bike to drive itself up on. Hope this helps; Bill.D (4/12/2008)
Response: Will you be able to handle on the delivery end with just you and my friend - I won't be there, and he is not a motorcycle person. (4/12/2008)
Response: Yes that will be easy enough! Ive had a few bikes myself. (4/12/2008)
Question: I'm headed to Vt Tuesday morning. I can make this shipment right away for you. (4/12/2008)
