Response: Hello Dwayne, the car I just hauled was a Superbee. It was a rough rolling chassis. It was towed up the trailer from the side by another vehicle while someone else was steering. It worked well using the tow straps. Of course unloading is not a problem. Let me know if this sounds like a posibbility. Thanks Jay (11/14/2007)

I was informed by the car owner that the vehicle is over 4500 lbs...so pulling it up a ramp with another vehicle would require a vehicle with a big motor indeed and a strong rear end. He informed me he only owns a passenger car (late model) with around 200lb / ft of torque - not enough power to pull that cadillac up onto your trailer. I think the only vehicle that would be strong enough to pull onto your trailer would be your own truck. If you would not mind using your truck to pull the car up on your trailor and then tieing the car to your truck to lower it (because the car has no working brakes), I think we could do this. The owner could steer the vehicle up the ramp while you tow it with your truck in LA and then when you deliver it, my brother could steer it in Pueblo while you raise and lower the car using your truck.
If that sounds like a plan, let me know and then submit your bid, which I will accept.

Response: Hi Dwayne, I have blocked and chocked my trailer all sides, once it was backed up to the car and then hooked the tow strap to the front of the car and pulled the car straight up the ramp gate(I do have a steel mess ramp gate on the trailer) with my truck. This does work very well and can be done slowly and with the use of someone steering. On the delivery end the car will roll of pretty easily. Are the length and width measurements exact???
