Response: YES WE COULD DO THIS . YOU TELL ME WHAT YOU NEED. WE NOW HAVE A 4X4 BLOCK ON 4 CORNERS WHERE A PALLET JACK CAN GO UNDER NEATH IT AND WAS MADE FOR THAT PURPOSE. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU NEED (1/29/2009)

Question: FYI - as per uShip rules, bid rated all inclusive per posting info: “Business to Residential” with liftgate delivery curbside ... Shipper (consignor) to load item to back of truck & Consignee to receive / unload same from liftgate ... Do you have any questions or require rate and/or service clarification?? ... If so, then please ask before accepting ... THX (P.S. - Cost savings can often be realized by consignee picking-up shipment at a nearby business with a dock or forklift to use as a “drop-shipment” location so as to avoid residential, limited access and/or liftgate accessorial charges ... advise if this would be a preferable option and will re-bid to suit.) Response: is this 560.00 total cost for drop shipment to the residence. does the customer need people to unload the unit piece by piece or are you able to drop in the driveaway as a 5 ft x 6 ft unit packaged the way you see it in the photo.this needs to be dropped at the residence house not a pick up at a dock or place of business (1/30/2009)
Response: well, this should be possible to do .. liftgates are normally 48" deep ... so with the item being 5' wide as a skid, then it would appear to be possible to lower it to the ground with an overhang ... the skid should have full width "runners" on the bottom so pallet jack can be pulled out when placed on liftgate ...
