Question: I AM TAKING MY PERSONAL BOAT HOME TO NEW PORT RICHEY FOR THE WINTER. THEN HEADING TO NJ. Please read my profile & feedback and let me know if can help. I offer FREE inspection & payment assistance. (10/23/2007)

Response: Let me have your ideas on payment assists? What are you dates for hitting the road? (10/23/2007)

Response: If you need to send the deposit and evaluate the offers and provider details/feedback, please send me a request. I am local and patient. I make the trip every week. (10/23/2007)

Response: What do you mean by local? Are you near me in VA? (10/23/2007)

Response: Almost...I have a home in NC and in New Port Richey area. (10/23/2007)

Response: I remember your user name when you bid on another boat I had shipped from FL. I didn't use you because of a timing problem back then. I really want to get someone involved as a third party for payment. Have a buddy in Daytona Beach but can't get a hold of him. Maybe use the shipper to deliver the check and pickup titles and boat. Still thinking this out. thanks (10/23/2007)

Response: Thanks for your confidence. However, it appears that "howard" is offering very similar terms and at a "right now" price. If his timing doesn't work for you keep me posted. (10/23/2007)

Response: One other thing I forgot to mention is the old man is willing to deliver the boat in FL and go as far as Miami for delivery. (10/24/2007)

Question: I might be able to inspect the boat & trailer today, tomorrow or any day. Payment by me at that time is very possible. What amount of cash is needed? (10/23/2007)

Response: All of this is happening very fast. I am suppose to send the 10% deposit out today by mail. I don't want it published how much I paid for the boat because I am afraid of scammers. (10/23/2007)

Response: I understand...I will not be the cheapest bid...but as you can see...I will be the best to handle your affairs. Let me know if $925 will do it. (10/23/2007)

Response: Just thinking out loud, Is it possible to send you a cashiers check for purchasing the boat for me once you get into FL? (10/23/2007)

Response: Absolutely, there are many options that should work for both of us. I am known for "logistical magic". If you want my bid, I can call you to discuss which way to go with this. (10/23/2007)

Response: I am really thinking about using you as my shipper and third party where the money and boat is exchanged. I could overnight the money for the boat to you. I am 99% sure that everything is good with the seller but since we a talking about some real money I have to be 100% sure. Unfortunately I did send the deposit out by snail mail this morning so that will delay things. (10/23/2007)

Response: If you accept my bid...I can even pay the seller MY cash...this method is one I have used before and all went smooth. BUT you need to let me know ASAP. By the way...my cash limit is $5000 (10/23/2007)

Response: I need 2.5 times that. (10/23/2007)

Response: Well, two banks I know in the area would be Wachovia & Bank of America which are everwhere. If the seller holds an account at either...go to one of those and make the deal. I have work that method also. Good luck. (10/23/2007)

Response: I may have to cancel this shipment due to the fact that I just got off the phone and I don't think the seller remembered our conversation from yesterday. He is an 82 year old and possible suffering with dimensia. If I can't get a buddy involved I don't see how I can go forward. (10/24/2007)

Response: It sounds like you are running out of options. You can always send me the check to present to the seller. (10/24/2007)

Response: I was thinking about sending you the check but suppose you get down there and he forgot to get the notarized bill of sale on trailer and boat or can't find the titles. Really worried. (10/24/2007)

Response: The fact that I have a home in the area, I could check it out...and if needed make more than one attempt. Even if it takes a few visits, I am sure we can guide the gentleman or find one of his relatives to help. I am guessing that you are eager but probably not in a hurry to winterize it. lol (10/24/2007)

Response: You could be a really big help here. Suppose I accept your bid, I send you the money for the boat and it turns out the old man can't give you a boat for whatever reason. How much would I owe you? I think with some hand holding the old man will do what he is suppose to. I think he is very lonely. There is some risk for me with you being the third party. Would you put up your 5K and I put up the rest and pay you in cash once you get here? I also need to know when you will be in FL.
(10/24/2007)

Response: My tentative plan is to be home in FL on Sat night, I have other business in FL then back to the house in a few days, then back north again. I will give you my exact itinerary if you accept. HOWEVER, I might just head on down the east coast to Miami first. But I could send my brother-in-law who is my partner to check out the old-timer. As far as him delivering it ANYWHERE in FL, from what you told me so far about the old-timer, I find that a bit amusing. You should accept, so that we can work it out. Unless your sale is about to collapse. (10/24/2007)

Response: Suppose I accept your bid and the sale collapses how much will I be charged? If you are looking out for my interests of course I should pay you something.
I figure the actual transaction probably wouldn't happen until early part of next week. He doesn't even have my deposit check yet which I put in yesterdays morning mail. (10/24/2007)

Response: 10%...However, if you are as patient and persevering as I, the deal should go smooth within a reasonable time-frame. (10/24/2007)

Response: With your help this could happen. (10/24/2007)

Response: I am "HAPPY TO HELP". (10/24/2007)

Response: Please be patient and please extend your bid into the weekend. I am planning on using you. Once the old man gets my deposit check which should happen tomorrow, I should have a very good indication if this will happen. I will over night the money to you to pay for the boat and I will be seeing the boat in the very near future. (10/24/2007)

Response: Will do, just let me know. I am heading there on Saturday with MY OWN BOAT. (10/25/2007)

Response: Going to give the old timer a call on Monday and see if I can arrange pickup, etc. Let me have an idea as to your schedule this week. Sorry for the delay, the old-timer is not very responsive. thanks (10/28/2007)

Response: I have decided to take my own boat to the Keys for some R&R and currently enjoying the view of Paradise from a $3 million villa. Back to Port Richey on Saturday to drop my boat and then inspect yours and head north on Sunday. So for now...it,s mimosas, breakfast and then goin fishin...Let me know if this weekend will work for you. (10/29/2007)

Response: This weekend is fine. It looks like I won't need your payment services you will be picking up the boat which will be ready for transport and coming up. When would you be able to get up here with the boat? Monday will have to be after 2pm. Please submit you bid again. thanks (10/29/2007)

Response: If I inspect your boat and all goes smooth with your deal and the old-timer, I will hook up to your boat and take it to my house for some prep (bearings, tire pressure. lights etc). Leaving Monday night or Tuesday. Delivery in 2 days. (10/30/2007)

Response: That sounds fine. I was told the boat and trailer are in excellent condition. I explained to the old timer that I will be using a shipper. Once I get a specific day for pickup, he will have the boat ready for you. Should have the transaction with the titles and money complete by this weekend. Will I be paying you cash once you get up here? (10/30/2007)

Response: Let make Sunday the pick up day. NO money to me until I deliver your boat. C.O.D. (10/30/2007)

Question: We have offices in North Carolina and Florida. We canhelp you out as much as possiable with getting your shipment completed. (10/23/2007)

Response: The boat may be ready for pickup as early as Wednesday evening. When would you pick it up and when can you have it up here? (10/30/2007)

Response: Pickup wendesday evening, delivered thursday. Thank you, Paul (10/30/2007)

Response: Wow, if pickup occurs instead on Thurday can you work with that? How will that change your scheduling? (10/30/2007)

Response: Pickup Thursday, Delivered Friday. Our customers are our #1 priority. (10/30/2007)

Response: I am still trying to finalize the purchase of the boat before accepting a bid. You seem very flexible, would Friday for pickup be a possible and delivery on Saturday afternoon be possible but I would want to meet you right off an exit in Fredricksburg which would save you 40-50 miles. Also Sunday might work. This way I don't get grief from the wife purchasing the boat because I can take it directly to the marina. Let me know. (10/30/2007)

Response: Pickup when you need us to... If we pick it up in the morning or afternoon friday(12:00ish), we can have there on saturday afternoon. Or pickup saturday, have there on sunday. Your decision, just let us know. Thank you, Paul (10/30/2007)

Response: I am really impressed with your feedback and your flexibility. I am hoping to finalize the purchase tomorrow through FedEx. (10/30/2007)

Response: As you can see, customer satisfaction is our number one goal. Hope to be doing business with you very soon, and add you to our growing list of happy customers! (10/30/2007)

Response: I might be asking to much but instead of delivering the boat to the first address you could deliver it to my second home in Colonial Beach, VA 22443. If I am asking to much please let me know. I am only at my second home on the weekend. Just let me know your thoughts. You saving me from the wrath of my wife goes beyond words. With her birthday a week or so away and I buying a new toy for myself, she will expect a more expensive birthday present. (10/30/2007)

Response: What is the mileage difference between the two homes? (10/30/2007)

Response: Plugging in the zip codes into mapquest on-line it is 20 miles less to my second home. thanks (10/31/2007)

Response: Which ever home you want it delivered to is fine. No price difference. (10/31/2007)

Question: Hi. You've twiced mentioned using a "provider" as a third party in this transaction. I'm going to make as assumption here that what you need is to have someone to wire the money to, go pay for the boat and then deliver it to you? I recently did something along those lines. Look at my feedback from "Sharonlare". The paypal transaction got all fouled up and she needed her items asap. she wired me the money, via Western Union, I paiid for the stull , got it loaded and delivered right on time..no problems. I can hook your baby up tomorrow afternoon and have her delivered by the weekend. I will submit a bid for 600.00. If you accept, and I was/am correct in my assumption, I will give you her phone #..you can call her for a reference. If you feel uncomfortable and want to cancel, no hard feelings. Right now, I have a full truck and an empty hitch. Let me know as soon as you can. Thanks, Howard. Federated Couriers. (10/23/2007)

Response: I just can't respond in the affirmative to anyone on the shipment yet for a couple days until all the details are worked out at my end. For the size of the boat it is quite pricy. (10/23/2007)

Response: not a problem. I have a final pickup to do in the morning near Orlando, after that I'll be on the road back north. if things develope between now and say noonish tomorrow, I'll still be available. Thanks, Howard. (10/23/2007)
