Questions for this shipment:

Question: I might be able to pick up your boxes (inside a Chevy van, not a trailer) on my way to NY before a trip out west. Would a 7-10 day transit time be Okay? (7/2/2005)
Question: Hello - Do you still need this shipped? I have a new route planned. From Orlando, I'd be heading out west without going to NY. Can you please let me know if this would work for you? Transit time would be 5-7 days, as I'd be towing a boat to CA that I'd want to drop off first before heading up to Denver. If required, I could drop run direct from FL to CO, but that would be extra gas and cost. (7/4/2005)
Response: Greetings! Sorry for the delay - I was gone for July 4th holiday. Cost is higher priority than transit time or route as I am arranging this for a non-profit org. in Denver. Could you give me an estimate? Thanks! (7/4/2005)
Question: Hello - Assuming it all fits in my van (I can't visualize to the level of detail of your .xls) that it would all fit in my van, I would estimate $ 400 - 550. It would be on the low side is I could line up another load nearby to Denver, higher to the upper limit if I had to go out of my way to make the drop off in Denver without getting another load. Bid price would be for whatever fits inside my van. (7/5/2005)
Response: Urgent! Are you still in Orlando area, or have you left? I just found out that the organization I am arranging this for has a conference in Van Nuys, CA (L.A. area) so will see if you can take it with you there... (7/5/2005)
Question: Still seeking a shipper? I have to make a quick trip to Sanford, FL for family business and looking to subsidize fuel costs. Load on 7/19 - direct return to Denver in 3 days. Haul inside SUV. Approx $300. Still interested? (7/5/2005)
Response: Greetings - sorry for the delay, but the trip was finally confirmed for Denver (after a possible change that did not happen.) YES, if you are still able to do this trip, I would like for you to bid ASAP. The timing for delivery is not important, but please let me know if you are still available for it as there is other bid activity and I would like to get this on the road. (7/5/2005)
Question: I am starting my trip from Boca Raton, so a pick up in Orlando is not a big deal. What are the dates in Van Nuys that are good for the organization? (7/6/2005)
Response: Hi again! The Van Nuys destination would be a church (Pastor Jack Hayford's "Church on the Way") and we are waiting for word that iot can be dropped there. If so, the time would be quite flexible - but I would think daytime hours would be best. I should know by tomorrow - when are you wanting to leave? (7/6/2005)
Question: I figure I could swing by Orlando next Thursday (July 14) For a drop off in Van NUys, figure 6-10 days latter (exact date and time will be co-ordinated with the Pastor). If there is a parking lot or legal off-street parking, I'd be more than happy to help with the unload to inside the Church. I am currently bidding on another gig that will keep my van filled from FL to AZ, so I'd want to give the shipper at least another day to consider before offering a bid to you. If you def want this done, and can agree to $ 500 (CA is more gas than CO), I can push the other shipper for a quick answer, and submit a bid sooner. (7/6/2005)
Response: Thanks for your reply - I won't know anything until I talk with the org's secretary tomorrow. I think they're ready to go, but can't tell you for sure until 1) they agree to the $500 and 2) they get confirmation from the CA church for storage. Keep me posted on your other situation, k? Thanks! (7/6/2005)
Question: I will let the other party know that they need to decide by this evening. If they pass, I will make a formal uship bid which you will be able to accept tonight. (7/7/2005)
Question: Hi - Can you please either accept, reject, or if you have any questions, ask on my bid. I have other moves I can do on CL and Uship, but I have them on hold to give you a chance to accept or reject. Please act before Friday afternoon. (7/7/2005)
Response: Hi! I had said in my last message I was waiting to hear back from the secretary, and she just notified me that they cannot take the shipment at the church so it cannot go to CA at this point, but to Denver. You can bid on the Denver destination, but I will say that there was a bid a couple hundred dollars less which may not even be available at this point, but if it is, I will probably have to go with that. I won't know until tomorrow so if that is too late for you, I'm sorry - please do what you have to, and if it works out for this shipment, great, but if not, thanks for your efforts. (7/7/2005)
Question: Hello - I canceled my bid because I wanted to bid on another job that would conflict with me being able to do your move and the other move. Should my bid for the other job not work out, I'd be happy to re-bid. Sorry about my non-responsive posts before. I did not fully read your answers. I misread and only saw the "1) they agree to the $500" which I took out of context thinking you were ready to act. While its subject to change, CA might actually be cheaper for me to do for you now than CO. Anyway, I will monitor this listing in case you post any new information. (7/7/2005)
