Freight description:2 Pallets of 2 barrels of bulk wine each. Each pallet will weigh approximately 1265 lbs and will be strapped onto a standard skid. UNSURE OF HEIGHT. It is preferred that these be transported in a "nearly full" truck so as to support them from much shifting. A possible alternative would be that they be strapped down inside the trailer so that they are unable to move/shift/tip over during transport.

Additional Information: Forklifts available on both ends, but a pallet jack must be provided to get load to the rear of the truck, as there are no loading docks.

Response: Sorry...When filling out the "Request For Quote", it states to just leave that field blank if you don't know what it might be; however, leaving it blank is not an option. "50" is what defaulted in there. My apologies.3/10/2011

It is extremely important that these not be allowed to move/tip over in transit, as they can be top heavy. Please advise further.
