Question: I hope to del a clasic car in Elkin NC on 12/8/2007, I could pick up on that date, then I have a trip planned to Chicago 12/22 or 12/29 and could del one of those weekends if that could work for you. I would be hauling your car in a enclosed race car trailer. I am new to Uship but I can provide references. i live just south of Knoxville Tn so I would have your car at my Home loaded in the trailer. I could possibly modify the del time, however my wife will be on vac 12/22 thru 01/02/08 and she could make the trip with me Thank You PowerPlayPulling (11/29/2007)
Response: Thanks for replying. I didn't know if the listing said that the Buick does not run. If that is not a problem, what would your bid be. I am real flexible on dates, basically anytime you can make it here is OK with me, and I would just have to check with the current owner to make sure he could be there when you can make it to pick it up. Response: I can winch load, do the brakes work, my bid would be 900dollars. I am sure you might get it moved cheaper if it run or if someone was moving more than 1 car. I look forward to working with you on this shipment, I wrk for a trucking company as a maintaince supervisor and do this on the side, we have a terminal in Princeton Ill. so I could go up and check on them while I am out on the road (11/29/2007)

Response: Of course as little as possible, but I realize that a car that doesn't run could pose some issues. I would entertain anywhere between 500 and 650 if possible. Thanks for asking. (12/1/2007)
Response: Hello again and thank you for your reply I think the upper end of your price thinking is certainly reasonable and if it weren't such a broken route (no as the crow flies here more like the camel back)even the lower end if there were an as the crow flies.
