Response: Hi Hank, a lot has happened in a few months with fuel, the U ship est is way off for today, you can maybe get some low bids but remember I as a legal hauler pay for the proper FMCSA Motor Carrier licenses and COMMERCIAL cargo insurance. East of DC near the Fed-Ex coliseum they have a MD DOT truck inspection and I understand they did this a few weeks ago looking for unlicensed for-hire carriers, so go from there. Response: I think 990 is to high. I paied last month 900 from miami. I have a 58 Oldsmobile to be picked up in Califonia this sunday for transportation to Stevensville for a price of 1200. Question: Hank, I just realized if you accept bid they will charge you the deposit, not sure if you can get it back so what do you want to do? If I don't have enough boards with, do you know if there is a town nearby where I could get some? (7/5/2008)
Response: I just talked to the prior owner of the car. He has a hill next to him. He told me if you load it on the hill it will probably work out. He will be there and help out to get it loaded. He also have a 6 to 8 foot carpet that could be used so the back bumper is't getting scraped. Hank (7/5/2008)
