Question: So do you have the van and just need a driver , or do you need both?....Also since I live in Louisville and have a job where I need to be back no later than 5:30am Fri 18Jul...could not stay any longer than 3:30 am...would that be a problem? I have several years of hotel shuttle experience, my aforementioned job requires my cargo van so am quite familiar with the vehicle type....sounds like fun! Could do for your target price of $300. Response: Yes. I guess I should have been a little more clear about that. I would need a van, as well as driver, to hold 6-8 people.
Our expectations are to leave the hotel around 4:00ish, be driven somewhere to "tailgate" before the concert. Then from there, taken to the concert. The hotel is only 12 miles from Riverbend, and we don't intend to go too far to "tailgate" so it shouldn't be a lot of driving for you.
We are heading back to the hotel directly after the concert, so I don't see any problem with your target time to get back.

I meant to put in my description that I needed a vehicle, as well as driver, to take us to the concert.
We would like to be picked up at the hotel around 4:00ish, and then taken to meet up w/some other friends (not sure where yet) to "tailgate" before the concert.
Then from the "tailgating" spot to the concert.
We will go straight back to he hotel after the concert.
Would this generally work out for your schedule?
The hotel is about 12 miles from Riverbend, so not a lot of driving.

Response: Oh, no, that would be great if you want to go to the concert. It would save you from "hanging" out for several hours. You'll probably be able to get a ticket at a decent price.
That van sounds like it will work just fine.

Response: Okay...I am all game for this. Just to reiterate the van (it's a rental car) holds 6-7 total, with the driver. So, there may have to be a bit of squeezing. But then again if we are intoxicated, this should not be a problem. What is the name of the hotel? I tried to rent a larger van, but none available. (7/13/2008)
Response: Squeezing is not a problem. I hate it that you're going to be the only sober one, but, once again, we are a fun bunch.
The pick up hotel will be the Hyatt. When we do the "official" accepting, etc., I will give you specifics.
